One day I was on the public bus coming home from school many years ago, I was sitting near the back when I noticed these two girls, who were identical twins acting very strange.
How were they acting strange? well... they kept glancing out the window, like they had never seen cars before, and their head movements were quite rapid. It was very odd to me, I know it doesn't sound like it but I had this really strange feeling about them, and I thought to myself sheesh haven't they seen cars and such before, they must be aliens from another planet.
I was thinking this when the bus stopped and they got off, and as the last of the twins got off the bus she turned and stared right at me and smiled. The bus was full that day, and I didn't know this girl from a bar of soap, and it freaked me out, they were just so odd and weird. You know how sometimes you can get a feeling about someone or something that is just not right? And the way she turned and stared at me straight in the eyes and smiled was like she had read my mind.
These "girls" looked about 16-18 years old, dirty blond hair, and looked white european. not sure of the eye colour, maybe blue, from what I can remember.

Strange story but true.

I am static sky's mom and feel compelled to write in response to what I just read from thirdeyelight. I also have been caught in the middle - good v. evil - that kind of thing. At the age of 51 I can tell you that if you hang on to the good in your life, and not be distracted too much by what you refer to as Lucifer, you will do an amazing thing in your adult life.
For those who wonder of these things, I can tell you that all my life I have watched people grow and become what they choose to become. This is a free will universe. It is not of negative or positive energies, simply energies beyond our very limited knowledge.
I have all my life been in touch with what I refer to as the spirit realm. I have seen heard and even smelled things which are beyond my physical limitations.
The one thing I really notice is that all children have these abilities, but growing up in a physical realm of "that isn't real" puts a stop to most people and they conform to what is acceptable. I sense that some do not fully conform, but no way will they speak of what they experience.
Please do not give in to the evil/negative that you experience. Hold on to the good/positive energies and you will do a remarkable deed for many, many people.

I will confirm that the poster above is indeed, my one and only mom. (AAAaaahhhhhh....I know ) But she has always spoken of seeing and hearing things that would be labeled 'strange' by so called 'normal' society. Earlier in the thread I did my best to describe a strange thing that happened to her, which I only recall through her telling of it over the years, as I was too young to have such memories. She has lots more stories that would fit well into this thread, but is somewhat aprehensive as they're obviously very personal to her. Perhaps in time....

But it speaks volumes of the validity of the stories, (and ATS in general), that you've all posted here, and shared with the rest of us, that a well-respected-in-her-field professional like my own mother would read the thread and then feel compelled to join ATS, just to be a part of it all. So welcome to the thread mom. Most people here are pretty cool. Don't take anything from those who aren't and most importantly, have fun.

Hi digwiz001. I agree. This thread has gone off way better than I'd have ever thought when I started it. And again I agree that I've learned about tons of things on here that I knew nothing about. Just from these stories, I've researched more on 'shadow people', 'astral projection/attacks' and 'out of body experiences/OOBE's', amongst others.

I like the poster a few pages back ( "Monroe" on page 15), who described herself at home, curled up in a blanket at night, just reading through this thread and enjoying it completely. That's awesome to me. Everyone who's contributed should agree. Thanks again, everyone. Be well and keep them coming.

Static Sky thanks for a great thread. I've read every reply thus far and have had a great time doing so. There have been a number of incidences that have taken place in my life that some would label strange. I think of them as unique. I'll tell you and the readers about the most interesting one. If these go long expect multiple posts. I've been accused on being wordy.

Telephone call from myself.
Phone rings while at home a couple of years ago. Hello, i say. The caller says hello "phil"? i say this is phil and the caller says this is Phil. I say this is "phil steward." and the caller says this is phil steward. I say no I'm phil steward thinking he's not understand me and the caller then say that's he's phil steward. i start to laugh and say quit playing with me who is this and the caller says this is phil steward to which I reply I'm phil steward also. i say this is weird and he says is it? I get kinda freaked out and hang up the phone. I sat thinking about the caller afterward and realized that there was something familiar about the voice. IT SOUNDED LIKE ME. I checked the caller id and it didn't register a call ever coming in. Strange.

UFO over Harlem.
Mid eighties in the car with my college buddies. Headed to Harlem to pick up a buddy there. I'm in the back seat chatting up my friends. I lean my head on the head rest and look out the back of the window up at the sky. I see what appears to be the underside of a UFO. I can make out geometric shapes like square and rectangular boxes. Kind of like the scene in the original star wars when he has to get the bomb in the small opening to blow up the death star. Remember when the fighter fly in close to the death star you see the details of the deathstar itself. it was like that but completely dark. I watched for a while and told me friend about it, but they didn't believe me. Their loss. It was a cool experience.

When I was younger i was hanging out with myolder brother in his room. Apparently not being a pest or he wouldhave thrown me out of his room. It was really late at night and what we were doing i don't recall. all of a sudden we hear chanting. We looked out of our window (we lived on the top floor at a 6 story building) into the backyard and saw a ring of fire. Six floor really isnt that high up comparatively speak but when we look down it was as if we were looking from some incredibly high height. I remember thinking we should be this high up. We can't be this high up. We stayed in the window and watched shadows move around this ring of fire. The chanting continued as well and we just watched. Fast forward 30 or so years and the topic of supernatural things come up at a family gathering. I look at my brother and say remember when and without missing a beat he says the chanting and the ring of fire thing. I'm blown away that he remembers. For some reason we had never talked about it to each other or any one else from that matter. We compare notes and remember it exactly the same even down to the incredible height perspective.

Close call with a demonic spirit?
Contrary to the norm of college life I got very religious for the first time in my llife. Sang with a choir and lead a christian life. Church, prayer, holy ghost etc. This one summer a friend was coming over to "hang out". There was a serious attraction between us and this visit was hopefully going to end in sex. She comes over to frat house that im staying in for the summer and right away something is not right. I become extremely prayer saying silent prayers as soon as she walks in. Outwardly I'm trying my best to hold conversation and at the same time thinking how best to get her out of here in a hurry. At some point we are sitting on opposite beds in my room facing one another and I say tell her that this is a bad idea and I think we shouldn't do this. Meanwhile, I spirit is asking the lord for some serious protection.

(to be continued)

posted on Aug, 17 2008 @ 04:18 AM
So I'm asking The Lord from some serious protection when she lays back on the bed and starts to writhe, grunt and groan. By this time I'm no longer saying silent prayers rather I'm saying them loudly and rebuking satan, demons, whatever with all the spiritual might i can. She starts to bark and writhe more violently and I continue to pray and plead the blood of Jesus for protection. (Just as an aside: There is a tremendous amount of power in the name of Jesus. ) I'm not afraid or threatened just incredibly focused and determined to get her out of her as soon as possible. After how long I'm not sure she comes out of the state that she's in and apologized to me. My only responsed is You have to leave now. I walk her out of the frat house and to her car. She gets in drive off. I see her sitting there in profile as she drives away but then I also see this shadowy thing sitting in the same seat with her turn and look at me. Needless to say I got down on my knees when i got back to my room and prayed. I've seen her years later but have never spoken about this incident with her.

This next story in the most powerful one for me. Throughout my life I've come back to this story time and time again and it has provided me with a tremendous amount of comfort in an otherwise crazy upsidedown world. I recount it hear not because I think it's weird but because I hope that other can gain the solice that I have in these troubled time. There are many people involved that can verify and back up my claims however, I'm not sure if they read ATS.

The V.O.G.
So I told you how i was really religious in college. I was a full blown born again christian singing in a gospel choir and loving life and the lord. Choir and choir rehearsal took up most of my time. Sometimes the prayers during rehearsal could get really long and drawn out. This one time the choir director suggestedthat if we wanted to keep the prayer going we should move the prayer to the smaller chapel in the lower level. And we did. There was a large group of us in this room praying, around 30 of us. We all were prayer for many different thing. I was praying for the holy ghost i.e. the visitation of God in spirit form on me. Prayer started off normal enough but built in intensity. Many of my friends were speaking in tongues, some were singing, others were in tears, joyous praise, silent, you name it. This was common during our pray sessions. It's beautiful listening to people praise God in their own way. I was coming out of my intense prayer but still mindful of what was going on in the room. Some folks had finished prayer and were silently talking to others in the room. Some were in full prayer mode still. Like the girl who was completely laid out in the middle of the floor speaking in tongues in her high pitched voice. (She was a sorpano in the choir.) Some others had left the room to wipe their eyes, blow there noses etc. You could hear them on the other side of the door in the hallway. There was about 15 of us in the room still. We were hugging and quietly talking basking in the glow of The Lord. We were fellowshipping and the girl on the floor was still in deep prayer. All of a sudden the girl on the floor starting talking. From utterance of the first syllable that came out of her mouth the room went silent. This is what she said:

"I am the Lord Thy God and I love you. Those that keep their mind stayed on me I will keep them in perfect peace. Prepare my way for I am coming soon. You are my children and I love. Remember prepare my way for I am coming soon."

And then she went silent but we exploded in praise and glory to God. Those on the outside came rushing in wondering what happened. We thought that they would have heard because this voice, this voice of God was commanding and loud and deep and masculine. Definitely not the voice of the soprano who was coming to on the floor.

Ok.. here it goes.

Stories condensed so I can fit them all in!!

-story 1-
I worked the night shift and slept during the day till about 6pm. I lived by myself in an older house. The house had a 'work room' where most houses would simply have a backdoor to the backyard. So the 'backdoor' went directly into the 'work room' then another door to the backyard. Anyhow, the backdoor didn't close properly, no big deal since there was another door but still concerning. For a quick fix I wedged a beam between the door handle and floor.

Several times I woke up hearing the sound of the backdoor SLAMMING, as in, someone was SLAMMING into it and it was SLAMMING back against the door frame. I simply can not explain how loud this was, it was epic. Everyime I'd lay there and listen + check it out, never discovered the cause.

-story 2-
I've seen the triangle UFO several times and once with my girlfriend. It looks like stars in a triangle shape but if you look at it for a moment you can tell its not stars because its 'weird'. I cant explain it but you feel weird looking at it because its like an optical illusion because it seems to be not moving but you can tell it's moving because the triangle eventually points in different directions and occasionally one of the UFO's goes dark then comes back on.

-story 3-
same house as in story #1. after work one day (regular shift, 9am-5pmish) so its about 7pm, dusk or so. female friend and i are in the living room and i get up to goto the bathroom. when i return she's laying frozen on the couch , like a ghost. she's pointing into the dining room (towards an open window, all of the windows were wide open). i stop and listen through the noise of the tv and can hear footsteps SLOWLY coming to the window (backyard FULL of dead branches). the 'thing' comes to the window (while im yelling at it, getting weapons + calling 911). when it gets to the window / house it starts to pace between two windows SLOWLY then the sound stops. totally stops. totally silent. nothing. the 'thing' is gone and has made no noise, this is IMPOSSIBLE as the ground is COVERED with dead limbs. plus, the sound of it was of an adult man, not a cat or a dog or something. cops came , found nothing. after they are done and in their cars in front of the house a light passes over the spot where my friend was laying. we both saw it. trouble is, the light was angled like it was coming out of the ceiling.

-story 4-
saw two commercial sized jets laying chemtrails over a big city at very low alt. (less than cruising alt.). one was going straight and the other was less than 1,000 ft behind it flying in an S pattern. very dangerous.

-story 5-
ok so this is a story from my brother but i have absolutely no reason to doubt it.

him and some friends went to a dead end road to drink some beers etc. before they ever started drinking a massive blue light flooded them, like couldn't see your hand in front of your face and it was totally silent (no helicopter). then the light was gone.

-story 6-
ive had several occasions where i was going to leave a friends house but didn't and stuck around for a bit more. when i'd finally leave on the ride home id pass a horrible crash which obviously occurred pretty recently.

one time i was coming back from an interview and stopped to get some cigs out of the blue. well i pulled out and caught a red light. decided to open them and it was giving me trouble so when the light went green i delayed by a few seconds more than usual. right when i got the cigs unwrapped i looked up and a car ran the red light doing 50mph.

-story 7-
lived in a haunted apt once. you'd hear the front door open and close but no one would be there. or you could hear the key go into the lock and turn but no one would be there. my friend started finding pieces of teeth in the carpet in his room. vacuuming didn't solve the problem. very nice apts too, most people drove BMWs and the sort.

The soprano had no recollection of anything happening. The folks outside said that it got really quiet then they heard all of our voices cry out in praise.

We talked about it that night and then didn't mention it at all. Until, that is one of the girls who was present for this got married. A group of us came together for the wedding and I brough the topic up and quoted verbatim what was said. Someone asked me how could I remember it word for word, my response was how could I not.

Like I said earlier it has brought me a tremendous amount of comfort particularly in the face of the NWO and all the stuff that I've read about it. Easily a lot of the threads here can make you just want to dig a hole in the ground and wait it out. Me, I take comfort in God and don't let the stuff that I read me make run for the hills. (And yes, I know that some think that God and Jesus et al were all aliens. I've read the terra papers as well. )

Sorry for the long post. Told you I've been accused of being wordy.

Be well, be blessed and live to love.

I've had quite a few weird experiences, but here's the most recent:

Since the end of May I've developed an anxiety/panic disorder. This hit me out of the blue as I've not had any traumatic experiences, no more stress than usual and so forth. After visiting the Doctors' on two occasions and having Beta-blockers prescribed, which I do not want to take, I decided to do my own research to help myself. I'd been on many, many websites which spouted the same information until I came across one that recommended a book by Daniel Goleman called "Emotional Intelligence". This title rang a bell. I went over to where my partner's books are kept and there it was... He said that he received it years ago from a club that used to send random books to him. It's been sat on the shelf for a good 5 years, just waiting. Thankfully the book has helped me out quite a lot, but it's just odd that of all the books they could have sent him, they sent that one.

I am not a religious man at all in any way but five minutes ago while reading this thread I was joking with a friend at work making up scriptures and I quoted it Corinthians 4:18. Now I have never read the bible so I was very curious as to what Corinthians 4:18 said. I looked on an internet bible page and it said "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal: but the things which are not seen, are eternal." This really creeped me out since this thread is about things that are not seen. Just thought I'd share this with you all.

Like a lot of other people in posts Ive read in this thread. I joined just because of it. I have been snooping around here for a while now just observing but am now deciding to share.

My grandparents on my fathers side both died when I was about 12 years old exactly a month apart from each other. They were both very amazing people, very kind and always happy to help people. My grandmother was especially interested in wildlife such as birds, insects anything really. And up to the time when I was 2 years old they lived on the farmhouse and 200 acres of land that my family is currently living on.

Ive had a few strange experiences that I believe to be my grandparents looking out for me.

The first one was when I was cutting up a large pine tree that had fell along our fence line. It was about a meter in diameter so it wasn't an easy task to get through it at all. I was almost all the way through the tree with the chainsaw so I re-arranged my footing to put more weight on it in order to get through easier. I was alomst there when out of the corner of my eye I saw movement. All of a sudden a large buck (male deer) was in full stride towards me. I shut the saw off and got ready to be clobbered by this deer when at the very last second it veers away. We then stared at each other for about 30 seconds until it looked like the deer nodded his head toward the ground a few times then took off. When I got my focus back I pulled the saw out of the tree to start it again when I noticed this strange mark on the top of my work boot. It seems that I was only less than an inch away from cutting into my foot with the chainsaw.

The other one that I'll mention on here is somewhat the same I was on my bicycle going for a ride with my MP3 player on. I was coming up on an intersection that was only a two-way stop, which was not the road I was on. I crested the hill before the intersection and slowed down a bit in case there was a car coming but i did not see any so I carried on, when a huge hawk swoops down in front of me and lands on the road right in front of me. I stopped as fast as I could as to not hit the bird when about 4 or 5 seconds later a huge tractor trailer screams through the stop sign. Right at the time that if I hadn't stopped i would've been bikinig through.

I believe that my grandparents are looking out for me with the actions of these animals. Theres really no other way of explaining it and if there was I wouldnt want to hear of it. I love the feeling of knowing there still around me, and it makes me happy to know that they care. getting a little choked up so i'll go now. will post some other later maybe.

Great thread -- and so much fun to read through everyone's experiences. I thought I'd share two of the stranger events that I've lived through. I've had other odd things happen to me, but they can be fairly easily explained by conventional paranormal theories (i.e. "the house was haunted"). These two things were completely different from my usual experiences.

1. About eight years ago, I was living in the historic part of my home town. I had a friend who lived about eight blocks up the street from me, and one day I decided to take a walk up the street to see her. By the time I got started, the sun was getting low in the sky, but there was still plenty of daylight left.

I started walking down the street, and about half way to my friend's house, I was passed by five police cars with sirens blaring and lights flashing. They skidded to a stop about half a block in front of me. I began to walk faster, not wanting to be anywhere near whatever was going on. Just after I passed the house where the cop cars stopped, I crossed a street and saw a man walking towards me.

He was wearing work boots, jeans, and a flannel shirt (which was a little weird for a summer day in Louisville, KY). I was still focused on getting away from the cop altercation behind me, so I didn't pay much attention to him until he spoke to me. He stopped a couple of feet in front of me and pointed to the cop cars behind me and said, "What's going on over there?"

The moment he spoke, I heard a voice in my head say, "Don't look at him, don't stop to talk to him, don't have anything to do with him, just keep moving." This startled me enough that (of course) I hesitated a moment and looked at his face. His face was completely normal, except that his left eye was about four times the size of a normal eye. His right eye was normal size, but his left was HUGE.

My feet faltered but I kept moving, saying, "Looks like some kind of crazy domestic dispute or something." I didn't turn my head as I passed him and just marched on by. After about taking five steps, I stopped. The whole situation was so strange that I had to take another look at the fellow I passed. I glanced over my shoulder and he was gone.

I stopped and turned around and walked back up to the corner I'd just passed. I looked in every yard on both sides of the street and I looked down the intersecting street. Within the span of time it took me to take five steps, the guy had completely disappeared without a trace.

He had appeared completely solid, not ghostly or otherworldly in any way. The only weird thing about him had been his huge left eye. But he had somehow managed to vanish in however long it took me to take five quick steps.

2. The second weird thing took place several years before my run-in with the strange-eyed man. I was 18 years old, and a good friend of mine and I would often go to an underage dance club in town. The club didn't sell liquor, and neither she nor I used drugs of any sort. I would go to the club with her to watch her complete in dance competitions. One night, a competition went late, and I was driving home around midnight. We had taken separate cars that night, which was unusual.

I was rushing home and driving down a stretch of double-laned road that was bordered by fields on the right side and widely-spaced houses on the left. There weren't a lot of street lights. There was no other traffic on the road. Suddenly, my car was bathed in light. It was like someone was shining a spotlight down on the roof of my car. I slowed down and peered up into the sky, where I could see a bright light, but nothing else.

I pulled over and got out of the car to see if it was a helicopter or something else. There was no sound, no wind, just a bright light shining down on me and the car.

(To be continued)

posted on Aug, 26 2008 @ 08:59 PM
I hopped in the car and drove off, and the light paced me, continuing to shine down on the top of the car. At this point, the strangeness of the situation set in, and I stepped on the accelerator, hoping to out run whatever it was. The light stayed on the car without wavering.

The light continued to follow me to the turn that would take me into my parents' neighborhood. When I turned right, it continued to move down the two lane road. I raced home and ran inside.

I have no idea what the light was. I know it sounds like a fairly typical UFO story, but the light source seemed fairly low in the sky (lower than I'd expect a UFO to be).

Anyway, those two stories are two of the stranger things I've experienced. Take them for what they are worth -- in neither case did I have anyone with me, sadly. But I can assure you (as far as assurances on the internet can go) that at the time of both experiences I was stone cold sober.

SalvationJane, thank you very much for contributing to the thread. For some reason, I found your two stories particularly creepy. Well done my friend.

Am I to understand that you too joined ATS 'officially' just to post here? If so, thank you very much. This is simply outstanding. I can't express how thrilled I am that so many 'interested-but-at-arms-length' readers decided to jump in because of this thread. And often they're bringing some of the best stories to contribute. Thanks again SalvationJane. Welcome to the neighborhood. And enjoy the rest of ATS. This site absolutely rocks.

I've had quite a few interesting experiences in my life so far at 38 years old if anyone would be interested I can relate them here they include.

They include (in no particular chronological order)

01. An unusual OBE

02. 2 UFO sightings (as recent as Sat 27th Aug 08)

03. An encounter with a BEK (see BEK thread)

04. Near sleep encounters in a dark place / the pressure of being forced / pushed down / sat upon etc (this has been happening since the early 1990's)

05. A rather mundane dream that came true 6 months before the real life

06. The feeling that "something" followed me home and has been with me ever since (or maybe related having read other threads something to do with the BEK encounter or something to do with No.4)

07. Some form of "gift" about hearing, seeing things (albeit rather mundane items) before they happen (this has been happening for as long as I can recall).

and to boot I'm also a Freemason and theres a whole conspiracy in itself.

I found out that mind control exists in 1992, when trying to do my alevels in london england. Stayed with me ever since.

I just wonder when mind control on people at school started, and why does it happen.

Strangest thing i found in life.
