Actually, many farmers are/were inventors. I come from a long line of british farmers, and many of my ancestors invented things, mainly for the farm and households though.

Welcome to ATS - we need more brits and aussies here - if nothing else than to balance their spelling with (proper) Queen's english - LOL

When I joined I assumed there would be few other Brits but I was wrong.

I find that ATS is a bit like a Victorian Mental Asylum. At one end of the spectrum there are those who know they are slightly mad but just go with it, fair dues to them. Then there are those that are stark raving loonies but have no idea. What can you do?
