DADLE Could this be used for manned flight to Mars or beyond?

After using the applet on ATS to write a thorough, time invested thread, once again, I kicked myself in the butt for not writing it as a document and pasting it here. Needless to say, it's failure due to board restriction, did as always disappear my thread when attempting to post. Lacking the energy to rewrite the detailed version, I yield to dates and the links used for my research.
