Who is the candidate best suited to become the new American President? I can make this long and drawn out, but I won't. Many of you have alot of problems with the candidates that have been presented to us by the two major parties, and for righteous reasons.
Without going into why you don't like Obama or McCain, Please tell me why we here at ATS shouldn't write-in Springer.
We all know these things:
1. He will disclose
2. He is a businessman, so can handle a budget
3. He is not a Washington Weasel
4. Can handle the ubiquitious "3:00 AM phone call", hell, he deals with us, right?
5. Is direct in his dealings with people, I got U2U's to prove it

6. Is great in a debate (read some of his posts)
7. Doesn't care if you agree with him, just make your point and we'll discuss it
8. Many of us will be able to say we had direct dealings with the Prez before he became somebody

Feel free to add on.
Of course this is tongue in cheek, my point is we really have no-one to vote for.
Before I dreamt this up, I was going to write in my own name as I really don't care for even the Libertarian option.
Anyway, I promised to keep this short.
Comments or other candidates welcome.

Springer as a write-in. Now that's something worth considering. I think SO could give these guys a run for their money as well. I say we toss both names in the hat!

By the way, is it me or is your kitty doing an impression of the lone gunman?

Stranger things have happened...

I just wonder who he would use as a foil as a running mate?

And you forgot one plank: he'll never pander to the trolls...

King Maker Monkeys, not just for out Karl Rove-ing Karl Rove anymore...

It would have to be someone that isn't afraid to shoot their friend in the face. (Just so we can have some semblance of W's third term and make the conspiatorialists here happy)

Springer and BS don't go in the same sentence. Would that make for a good politician?

I can see the 4 way debate now:

Obama: "Now as we start this debate I would..."

Springer, "Dude, shut up unless you actually have an opinion on something."

Hillary, "I...."

Springer, "Don't even go there girl."

Springer, "Preemptive response. John, sit down man. You look like you're going to bust an blood vessel."

Springer, "Now, does anyone want to discuss issues"?

*crickets*

I do believe the President can make-up a cabinet position as he wishes. To-Wit: Bob Martinez as Bush 41 drug Tsar
That being said, I think Poo-Flinging would indicate Press Secretary.

Well, as a Canadian I'm really hoping I get Secretary of Beer. Does that fall under the Department of the Interior?

CHILLI FOR ALL!!!

I, being in Florida, LOVE having Canadians down here. They will, once in a while, reciprocate a round.

But I did have that post in mind for Cindy McCain.
Maybe you'd be interested in Secretary Of X-Games, since they're high all the time anyways.

WOW..

I can see it now if Springer was a write in vote..

We'd have the Republican Party, The Democratic Party, The Independent Party and now the Conspiracy Party...

Ohhhhh... and what a party it would be too...!

Intrepid, springer's response to any debate questions would be one word

FROGS

There are some problems with his running for office. First, he's from Oklahoma. Nuff said.

Second, whilst y'all think he's a dandy with a budget, there's a good chance the campaign money would be wasted on things like night vision goggles.

Are you looking to be Chancellor of Butt Darts?
I will have to excuse myself from this now, as I threw up in my mouth a little bit.

We'll get the same guy that doctored Obama's birth certificate to do a little "presto chango" magic on Springer's and they'll never know he's not natural born... I'm not sure that came out right... Ooops... That could be construed as a poop pun... Politics is so much fun... Damn, now I'm rhyming...

Mouthpiece Monkeys, not just for election illin' anymore...

Exactly! You have to have been born in the United States to be a President of it. :shk:

Get your facts straight dude! But just in case they do somehow let him slide I call head of the Department of Education!!!

None of this matters to them, we all get to post our views!
We try the best we can to influence the numbers but ultimately they gain power!

We have our opinions and they will look at our posts like this one and thousands of others, to decide the pulse of the nation!
