Boeing has finally reached power on of Dreamliner 1. Boeing announced that power was applied to the aircraft on Thursday. They were actually ahead of their projected timeline this time. They had projected power up around the 30th of June.

The fatigue testing airframe has moved to it's testing location, airframe 3 is well underway towards completion, and most of the components for airframe 4 have arrived in Everett. Airframe 4 is special because it's the first time that components are arriving in Everett with 100% completion. Once airframe 3 is moved, then the major work begins on 4.

Power on testing of airframe 1 is expected to last 10 days to 2 weeks.
