Thanks, I think credit is due to secret titan too, as he got it only 3 minutes later!

'great minds think alike'

=D

But it was still later. I think if I was at home doing this it may have been faster, but at least I'm getting paid to do it!

Hmm...... perhaps the latest page will unscramble soon.

Was referring to the new image on the whatistheconspiracy site.....

Codes/ciphers and photoshopping images are my weakest points when it comes to these games.... not good areas to be unskilled in btw.

Hmmm, just messing about with this and saved the whole image then opened it in word using trad chinese (olympics coming up 08/08/08), then used a translator which referenced many sites which have a conspiracy angle:

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

www.highbeam.com...

as well as subteranean and masons and "fault"

Just read the link intro's then search for the topics in places where they don't try to get you to take a free trial, although there are articles on the pages themselves.

Probably nothing, but it threw up some interesting "coincidences"

It's raining heavily, and I haven't gone out today is my excuse

I was wondering the same thing!?

I just figured we'd just have to keep checking until there was some other clue.

You wouldn't be up for writing a step-by-step tutorial complete with diagrams and video, would you?

I figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

Nice job BTW!

Hey Outrageo any luck getting the second smaller 'piece' at the bottom of the page (the purple one)

I know you have already done the first one, dont mean to be cheeky but it seems you know how to do it quick time.

Cheers

Peace

Okay...so basically now we "wait".
Expect a bunch more "practice" and teasers.

I guarantee there will be more clues before the 8th.... they want us to let our guards down. Don't fall for it!

The purple box at the bottom reminds me a lot of the 'circles' we needed to decipher in the November 5th game. S.O. so obscured the graphics in the circles that no amount of manipulation revealed much more than a few embossed, indecipherable characters. The answers (circle contents, see the thread) ultimately were disclosed through the collective analysis of other clues (e.g., obtained via the Crakster, etc.). This fuzzy little purple box, me thinks, falls into that category. BTW - a review of the Nov. 5th thread (and other previous games) will also give you many techniques for solving some of these oh-so-fun-and-time-consuming games.

As for the latest conspiracy graphic, there really is no 'manual' possible. I typically just stare at the image for a long time until I notice some sort of pattern or anomaly, then copy/paste the image into another program (any simple graphics/image program - need not be PS), and start making some guesses and intuitive stabs at how the image might be "reverse-engineered".

This exercise, after many trial-and-error failures, eventually produces a few pixels that are recognizable. I then further develop and extrapolate that process on the remainder of the image. Often, this is not enough, and further techniques, such as character substitution, need to be applied until the answer slowly emerges.

It's tedious, painstaking, often frustrating, and frequently fruitless.

Just grab some strong coffee, settle in, put the 'ole noggin to work, and hope the boss (aka wife, etc.) isn't hovering too close by...

Have fun!

p.s. Nov 5th manips...

Cheers for that, I loaded it to a HP photo program that I have, played with it slightly in the advance section and it does seem to resemble something but straight after this it says object not recognized and closes due to error.

Will keep plugging away, like you say trial and error.

PS Sorry JSR, ill whisper next time!!

Peace
