We seem to be getting the forums confused. I suspected that would happen this time of the political year. If it is indeed a political scandal, it goes here. If it is politics or political sniping, it goes in the Pit.

Yes, I've also noticed mudpit type remarks finding their way outside the pit.

Outside the pit should be a little more respectful and learned debate rather than attack after attack.

It's shameful, although I am sure I am guilty of it. I will stop, as I hope others will as well.

Do threads from the mudpit show up on recent posts? IF not, why?

I've heard that they do not, but I don't know why either.

I'd be interested to find out as well.

The Pit does not show up on recent posts because it is considered more of a BTS type forum, and was created to try and keep poisonous gutterscum like the good Colonel and myself from infecting teh entire board with flames and insults. When we grow up, the Colonel and I are going to have ourselves a political talk show, much like Hannity and Colmes, but with real teeth and spirit.

This is called politics AND scandals not political scandals so there could be your problem. In fact with a title like that you could talk about politics and scandals of any nature. Not just political scandals.

The title implies that you can talk about Politics and Scandals in here.

Ok, I'm new... Yes, the NFG and I admit that I'm a bit clueless to this whole site. What do I need to do to gain access to the Mud Pit? Anyone? A reply would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can purchase Mudpit access in the ATS Store.
Click on "MemberCenter" up top there, then look to the left of the screen for the ATS Store link.
You both need some more points before you can buy it, though ...

After doing a little research I discovered that. It looks like it's gonna take seom time to gather that many points.
