Whats the best advice you ever received?

All throughout my life I have been lucky enough to have people on my side that have have me good advice. Family, friends, supervisors, coworkers, etc.

But the best two advices that I have received have come from my dad:

"Always be yourself no matter what"

"Try as hard as you can not to involve yourself in drama and you would save yourself a lot of headaches throughout your life"

Those two right there have save me a lot of trouble while growing up and through my life.

So I just want it to open this thread as a pinlive service to all our members so we can learn from each other and maybe save ourselves some bad times in our lives.

Take care of yourself first before others. But if you do find someone else to take care of you, count yourself as lucky.

#1. Always live as if the next 5 minutes are your last.
#2. Only do what makes YOU happy and to hell with everyone else.

My dad would always say,

Your alive, Feel it,touch it and breath it,

and,

Say to many words and people forget, pick your words carefully and use your words with power.

**Treat others as you want to be treated.
**When it comes to raising kids.....pick your battles!
**If you're angry, walk away and count to 10.
**It takes a mess to clean a mess.
