First you are my brother in Christ. I take scripture seriously. I just disagree that the Bible says a young earth - I think that is an old idea based on misunderstandings of the original text. I'm not going on liberal Bible scholars either. The South Eastern Southern Baptist seminaries Dr John Sallihammer - OK? The Bible doesn't claim the age of the universe or the earth. It discredits the faith to make claims like this.
