Are you actually suggesting that these bacterium form into multi-cell lifeforms during the course of a 20-year experiment?

Now that's a stretch!

This is cool. And has been observed in a non-conclusive manner for quite a while, but this particular study sounds controlled and quite significant. A reassuring affirmation in the midst of crumbling dogma. At least we still have reason to believe in this particular mechanism. Whew.

Just saw this on stumbleupon . GREAT news . Absolute proof that can be replayed over an over and over. We will learn so much from this . I need to see what all has came from this already!!
