Pakistan slams NATO for bombing that killed 11 troops

Pakistan on Wednesday accused U.S.-led NATO forces of killing 11 paramilitary troops in an "unprovoked" and "senseless" air strike Tuesday night on their post just inside Pakistan's mountainous border with Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministry called the incident "a gross violation" of the international border that threatens to "undermine" cooperation with U.S. and NATO forces fighting Islamic insurgents in Afghanistan who use Pakistan's remote tribal region as a refuge.

The idea that Pakistan is an ally in the USA's War On Terror is a joke and has been from the beginning. Further more such actions on the part of the west are continually adding to the increased instability in the Middle East.

The issue of Taliban / Pakistan, or even Al Queida / Pakistan relations is something the USA and NATO need to treat with delicacy. Pakistan is already overwhelmed with internal conflict and strife and the West's actions seem to be little more than 'kicking the hornets nest'.
