Some information on the 'certification of birth' is missing.

My take on this...

The Certificate of Birth is photoshopped onto a certificate that was printed on June 6, 2003. Anybody with a photo editing program may want to crop and enlarge the laser printing of the black-on-green text to determine if this text is highly pixelated compared to the other text on the page.

You may want to compare the black on green text with the white on black text at the bottom of the certificate which may show no pixelation, or a different resolution as evidenced by "steps" in the diagonal lines in the letters.

The unofficial release of this by Kos gives Obama plausible deniability if it found to be fake, while possibly putting out the fires about this rumor.

Also, it may be a trap. Once enough rumors are stirred, Obama may in fact officially release the actual BC showing the same info on the fake CoB in an effort to discredit all the rumor spreading bloggers.

So this jerk won't release his birth certificate. Maybe he is not a US citizen. Now I want his birth certificate released to the public.

I did not make a comment; I asked a question. A "new way of practicing politics"? He is the same as the rest, as is evidenced by how his people have been instructed to respond to questions. Which is, ignore them altogether and ask for money.

He is even more dangerous because he has a following of groupies who swoon at his every word. Not something new at all, but something very old I'm afraid. Soros (the Man Who Would Be King) money to boot. Elect Obama and elect Soros.

I suspect that I will vote for none of the above by writing in a name this time.

I'm really surprised so many people are just assuming that the image on Kos is real, and that somehow Kos has an actual photocopy of the CofB.

As I suspected, there is extreme pixelation around all of the black on green letters.



Also note that there doesn't appear to be any pixelation around the seal in the middle of the photo, or around the white on black letters. There is also no white "halo" around the seal or the white on black letters.




Also, I was curious about what appears to be numbers written in ink on the certificate. What's odd is that these numbers seem to be backwards:





So I flipped the image around, and sure enough they were backwards, and they show the date, 6/6/2003:



How did an ink stamp get on the certificate backwards? Who has a backwards stamp?

Why was this printed on 6/6/2003? Obviously this isn't the original BC, and therefore it's existence does nothing to quell the rumors about the original BC.

Plus, notice how there is NO pixelation around the date stamped in ink. This is a huge difference from the black on green name lettering shown above.

Combine these observations with the fact that it seems odd that Kos would happen to have a copy of this, and it seems to me like this image is probably not legit.

Just a question here, and anyone there prove me otherwise, were does it state the a candidate for POTUS has to publicly show his birth certificate? Is there a requirement that before taking office the POTUS MUST show their birth certificate, or is it a matter of just paper work that has to be sorted out.

I have issue with the birth certificate presented by the daily Kos. Being the type of document it is I am prone to wonder why it has no notary public stamp to verify it.... their are no signatures....not from mom or dad or doctor... Whatever public servant filled it out for filing purposes failed to sign print or type their name onto the document. No baby feetprints. The ages of mommy and daddy at the time of birth are not given. Their is a blue ink stamp on the back of it which bled through the front upon scanning.. it gives a dates JUN 6 2007. Must of been the date it was requested/forged. It has on fold crease through the state seal suggesting it was mailed

In my life I have found the best fakes are normally the real deal you paid a public servant to falsify.....In this case however I think Obama might not of paid a dime judgeing by the worth of the document.

You are making a distinction without a difference.

While it is not the original birth certificate, it is the short form (as you said). They are issued by the state in lieu of the original birth certificate, because they are cheaper and easier to access. While not the original certificate, it signifies and is proof that the birth certificate exists.In fact, they are also called "Certification of Birth Record". Further, when the certification does include the names of the parents, it can be used in lieu of a long form birth certificate in almost all circumstances.

All of the above information is on the link you posted. Your refusal to accept that it is as valid as the long-form birth certificate (as the very link you posted states) and your accusations that it may be fake does nothing but prove that no matter what, you will not accept any sort of evidence or proof. Shown proof, you say it still isn't good enough. This refusal is nothing but a lame attempt at moving the goal-posts of the conversation, and not see yourself proven wrong. It is not a stretch to say the only birth-certificate you will accept is one that proves your allegations.

That is because it is a short-form birth-certificate. Those are not required for the short-form.

But all of this information has been provided. This is nothing but further proof will be good enough for some people, and they will continue to move the goal-posts, unless the birth-certificate says exactly what they want it to say, "Name: Barry. Religion: Muslim. Birthplace: Timbuktu." That is all they will accept, and until they, will ignore anything to the contrary.
