That would be one heck of a court case wouldnt it?

But your honor I OWN the galaxy, therefore my property rights extend to SOL and the Earth. Therefore the humans on Earth owe rent. I am initiating an eviction notice for Earth if the inhabitants don't pay they will have to move the planet to another galaxy.
