This has what to do with some mad person saying the world is comign to an end, like mad people have been saying from the time when mad people were walking the streets.

So let me understand this: the guy says the world will essentially end on Aug 2 and noone will be left on the planet. He is the Son of Man and will then rule the planet. Rule whom exactly? Everyone has been wiped-out.

That makes him one flat son of a man sandwich. Did he see that end comming. hehe.

p.s. I need a new calendar. No wonder the mayans made their calendar so big, it was to fit all the "End is Nigh" dates in.

I read in scriptures. If you try and save your life (i.e. pack up food, store away for end of times) you would lose your life, but if you give your life then it will be saved. I think this has to do with faith and belief. Remember what happened to Lot's wife when she looked back and was told not to? Lot was told not to pack anything and just go with the angels or he'd face death. He listened but his wife didn't and she turned into a pillar of salt.

A guy in LA claiming to be the son of man? Maybe he is but I'm sure you could go to any state right now and find someone who claims this.

In scriptures they also talk about false Christs and what to watch out for.

"Then if any man shall say unto you; lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders; in so much that if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold I have told you before. Wherefore, if they shall say unto you; behold He is in the desert; go not forth: behold He is in the secret chambers; believe it not." Matt. 24:23-26.

If this man truly knows and believes his bible he would know that 'no man shall know the hour or the day'.

Well, the day is all wrong

I'm leaving for Phoenix on August 9 so it would be very inconvenient

I think pretty soon all predictions will be going to the 2009 year, and eventually, they will come true.

Unless it ended already but we dont know it and we are all in the afterlife still living on some other plane, and come to find out, THIS world can end too??? that blows my little mind.

I hope it all destroys itself. It sounds mean, but I think we are a little overdue. I dont want to sound like a....
