Question for all the Christians regarding morality..

A little background to this post first....

I was speaking to a (rather arrogant) Christian colleague today who told me that morality could only learned from The Bible. He also continued by giving me the usual spiel about how it teaches us right from wrong, blah blah etc. Obviously I felt this was incorrect so decided to end the conversation rather than frustrating myself by arguing with him further.

Anyway, it got me thinking.... Do all Christians believe that morality is something that only The Bible can teach?

Is so do you believe that your moral standards are better than those who are not a Christian?

This is a respectful post.

If possible can we please discuss the topic without having to resort to copy+pasting passages from The Bible.
