TA-ANALYSIS: New Bin Laden Audio Tape Released

Topic started on 3-3-2004 @ 09:48 PM by worldwatcher

Still searching for additional info, will update:

3/3/04 - An audiotape consisting of 46 minutes and 21 seconds found its way to "members only" Internet forum at 2:57 PM EST today. The audio consists of the voice of Osama bin Laden in an eerily quiet setting - no background noise was detected, and the sound quality of the tape was uniquely professional. Network analysts have reviewed the entire tape and can confirm the voice is indeed that of bin Laden. Absent in the terrorist's rants is any content that could adequately date the tape. There were no references to the recent Islamic holiday Eid Al Adha and no references to any current activities in Iraq, including the capture of Saddam Hussein.

Since reporting this early this month, there have been no mainstream media coverage or confirmation of this tape.

maybe we do have him, and they released an old tape just to mess with everyone. or maybe it has some sort of hidden message for sleeper cells, in case he was captured?

the timing of this is very suspect and the description does sound like an old tape.

of course I haven't found anything else on it. It did say a "members only" forum, that's probably the reason. Waiting to see if it will make it onto other news sources.
