Laboratories, Battelle-Pantex and Lawrence Livermore NationalLaboratory

James Woolsey, ex-CIA and PNAC participated in a CFR Project run as a
war-game simulation at its Manhattan headquarters. (CFR sourced it for June
2000)

TOPOFF 1: James Woolsey participated in a bioterrorism exercise at Andrews
Air Force Base.
Other participants: Sam Nunnm who played the President, Frank Keating, Frank
Wisner, John White, George Terwilliger, Jerome Hauer and others.

Dr. Thomas Inglesby of Johns Hopkins Institute organised other bioterrorism
scenarios in Atlanta and St.Louis.

As disclosed by watchgroup POGO, "five months prior to 9/11—officials at the
North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) wanted to develop a
response in the event that a terrorist group used an airliner as a missile
to attack the Pentagon. According to the e-mail, aides to the Joint Chiefs
of Staff rejected the scenario as “too unrealistic.”

exercise for the possibility crash of a Boeing 757 airliner into the U.S.
military’s headquarters.

a major theater of war. It is based on a real-world military threat..."
Most possibly, a final test for the invasion of Afghanistan and the
beginning of the "war against Terrorism. Unified Vision 2001 may be also
timely given Rumsfeld's transformation plans, as later described on Sep10th
as the Tail-To-Tooth speech.

No they cant, and they avoid this thread like the plague, or truth.

I find it interesting that nearly 5 years after my posting of the orginal battle plans for 9-11 to this day the media refuses to cover it. I do believe on many fronts that the operational battle plans were in many cases a cover for what really happened.

There is a copy of one not all of the standdown orders given to the military before september 11th 2001. PDD-NSC-60 is another one of the ones that I know about.

This info is good, it’s more proof that the Government was involved. I never knew about the recent war games going on right up to 9/10 in the target areas. I wish the media would do their job by reporting this info, but fat chance of that ever happening.

NORAD put out a press release on September 9th 2001. The media wasn't holding anything back.

NORAD Maintains Northern Vigilance

CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN AFS, Colo. – The North American Aerospace Defense Command shall deploy fighter aircraft as necessary to Forward Operating Locations (FOLS) in Alaska and Northern Canada to monitor a Russian air force exercise in the Russian arctic and North Pacific ocean.

“NORAD is the eyes and ears of North America and it is our mission to ensure that our air sovereignty is maintained,” said Lieutenant-General Ken Pennie, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of NORAD. “Although it is highly unlikely that Russian aircraft would purposely violate Canadian or American airspace, our mission of vigilance must be sustained.”

NORAD-allocated forces will remain in place until the end of the Russian exercise.
NORAD conducted operation Northern Denial from December 1 to 14, 2000 in response to a similar, but smaller scale, Russian deployment of long-range bombers at northern Russian air bases. NORAD-allocated forces were deployed to three FOLS, two in Alaska and one in Canada. More than 350 American and Canadian military men and women were in involved in the deployment.

NORAD reportedly had only 14 fighters on alert on 9/11, and an article in Airman (the “magazine of America’s Air Force”) from 1999 confirmed the same thing. That is, this was the standard number available:

The Air National Guard exclusively performs the air sovereignty mission in the continental United States, and those units fall under the control of the 1st Air Force based at Tyndall. The Guard maintains seven alert sites with 14 fighters and pilots on call around the clock. Besides Homestead, alert birds also sit armed and ready at Tyndall; Langley AFB, Va.; Otis Air National Guard Base, Mass.; Portland International Airport, Ore.; March ARB, Calif.; and Ellington Field, Texas.
