I don't even know what to say to this...Is this finally recognition of the torture and illegal detainment committed under the Bush Administration?
What does it take for American citizens to stand up and say "no" to this corrupt government?

Gone are the days when the United States was the world's number one advocate of human rights, whether we lived up to it or not.
The terrorists have won.

Believe me we are getting to it
Dude who said the terrorists won, way to be a lose, if everyone gave up as easy as you I think we would all be ruled by radical Muslims by now.

The United Nations Human Rights Council still does little to address much of the human rights abuses occuring around the world, despite the name.
It's almost sole focus on Israel and the lack of focus on other countries major violations of Human rights makes it ineffective and almost useless.
Without major reforms it will continue in the manner.

Its obvious you have no idea what I am talking about...
... I said that the terrorist have won because in bush minor and his administration's response to them... we have pawned the values that we once
stood for...
To quote Ben Franklin:
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

I take it you're the type of guy who would rather die than give in to terrorism.
A fairly radical approach, if i may say so myself.

Bush is too worried that he will be accountable for his Administration's Crimes Against Humanity to belong to this Human Rights group.

No, it was the right decision. Everyone should quit it, the council has become a joke.
All Western nations are being investigated by the likes of Morocco, Algeria and Egypt for human rights violations but have blocked other nations from
investigating them in return. A speaker was thrown out after highlighting Hamas human rights record in Gaza involved denying freedom of speech and the
right to protest. Most sessions end up in a bash against Israel and America. The British diplomat walked out during one session because the Arab
nations would not let him rise concerns about Egypt and the French hardly turn up.
French, Britain and America have described the council methods as political motivated against the West and Israel. Even Amnesty International are
sceptical of the Council's recommendations.
Zimbabwe is on the council FFS

Exactly, Its a bash America and Israel fest unjustly most of the time so we want nothing to do with it. I support this move completely, Now if we can
get the U.S. my country out of the U.N. and make them move their headquarters all would be great.

You can't save face in the human rights council when you're violating human rights all the time. Bush truly doesn't care about the harm we do to
the rest of the planet, as well as his own citizens. This is just another nail in the coffin for the American Empire.

Good! Maybe this is this first step to withdraw completely from the UN.
This is the same UN who wanted to investigate the United States on racism, right when we were on the verge of electing Barack Hussein Obama as
candidate for the Presidency.
The same UN whose so-called peace keepers are raping women and children in the Congo.
The same UN who condemmed Saddam Hussein, then at the same time lined their pockets by supporting Saddam's Oil for Food program.
Without looking can anyone name the US Ambassador to the UN? I had to look myself. Here's a hint, the guy is a Muslim, appointed by Bush, I guess
that is why you never heard of him. I guess the media didn't want to give Bush any credit for this, so it went unnoticed.
The UN is completely worthless to the United States and the less involvement we have with them the better.

It does seem rather pointless to even have the council if a country can block the council from investigating them. It should all be laid out in the
open if you're going to have such a council, no matter how ugly it is.

Star my friend.
This guy in the video is not bias or related to the US government. He is independent. You can watch more of his videos, especially him grilling a
member from the Mugabe government.
