is it true that your back muscle is the slowest to develop when working out? i've heard this several times over and over..but was wondering if any of you guys knew for real.

I've never heard that. I'd say it's a myth.

I mean all muscles react the same to weight training. If you train them with heavy weight, they will grow and get stronger.

I've been doing deadlifts for a while now and I could tell they've made the muscle on my back a lot thicker fairly quickly.
