Makes them better people? Really?

If thats the case, why have more people been killed in the name of religion than any other reason?

Lets be honest here, it doesn't make them better people, it makes them better sheep.

Weak minded, easily controlled sheep. Thats what religion is all about, control and money.

religion wasnt the motivator it was power. if the world was born atheists there wouldve still have been wars. actually religion is what led humanity to where we are today. thank religion for not letting us be animals. its religion that taught us to care and be peaceful and to respect our fellow man. have you guys forgotten all that just because you are pissed off from religion doesnt mean you side with porn.

religion urges us to be the ultimate human beings that matches God's image of us.

You're kidding with that post right?

If religion were eradicated tomorrow, the world would be a much better place.

the jury does not have to decide a case that is found to be based on an unjust law. they can rule that the defendent is innocent because the law in which he is being prosecuted for...is discriminatory, unreasonable, illogical, therefore unjust. the jury "DOES NOT" have to obey any statements, rules, or opinions of the judge, "STRICKLY" pertaining to the "GUILT OR INNOCENCE" of the defendent in that "PARTICUALR" case. all "OTHER" matters of the court, that the judge rules on, "MUST" be followed.

Correct it's called jury nullification. The founding fathers allowed for the moral law written by God on peoples consciences to over ride the written letter of the law.

fine... clearly im not gonna change ur minds. just keep playing in the mud till the day of ur death and then soon none of this would matter, because you were nothing that wanted to remain as a nothing. there are currently like 7 billion people around the world, all with their thoughts and minds. gosh i hate to see them manifest any of their dangerous ideas. fact is u are controlled by everything, its not religion alone.

Really? where are your stats for this?

if the world was born atheists there wouldve still have been wars.

You have no way of knowing this.

actually religion is what led humanity to where we are today.

Are you kidding?
Familiar with 9/11? Religion caused that to happen. GO RELIGION !!!!

thank religion for not letting us be animals.

Oh you mean things like:
Salem witch trials ring a bell?
Islamic extremists?
The Inquisition?
Scientology?
etc...

So the 9/11 terrorists weren't animals??? REALLY???????

its religion that taught us to care and be peaceful and to respect our fellow man.

Inquisition=torture and death
Salem witch trials=more torture and death
9/11=more torture and death.

Yes very peaceful.... I see your point

have you guys forgotten all that just because you are pissed off from religion doesnt mean you side with porn.

Oh no, trust me, I'll never forget those horrific things that have occurred in the name of religion. And it's not about being angry about not siding with porn. It's a bigger issue then people wanting to watch porn. Why can't you get that through your head?

religion urges us to be the ultimate human beings

It also urges people to fly planes into buildings, torture and kill people.

It's not like this guy is making a political statement or stating his religious views, it's porn produced with the intent to make money.
And if the locals yokels in FL decided that it was obscene to them, more power to them.

your right, "bad laws" should be overturned. it is up to the people to set a precedent, so that higher courts and even congress can review the law in question, to see if it...no longer applies, and in contemporary society no longer justifiable.

Yeah... let's not turn this into a religion vs. atheists slug fest.

This is about pornography and free speech. Not sure why people are bashing religion (and vice versa).

Bu this time the jury went with the evidence and convicted the scumbag pornographer. Remember they didn't have too they chose to based on evidence. That's why we have courts and juries.

i fully agree
our country is defined by the ideology of separation of church and state
this really isnt the thread to debate whether religion or porn is worse
honestly i think all religion does is allow people to spend time continuing childish feuds rather than focus on the improvement of technology and truths rather than myths

we dont KNOW anything about religion we just have different ideas

porn well, we have facts
we have true knowledge as we are living whats going on today, we see consequences of our actions, cause and effects, etc
as far as my knowledge goes there are no religions that involve anything of relevance to todays world, not an attack on religion just a statement that in my belief the newest religion is still over a hundred years old at least that is based on hand me down knowledge and propaganda scripts which have survived the test of time due to being the victors views (which i may be wrong about and would gladly accept knowledge to the contrary of my statement)

we should focus on what we know and can affect rather then discussing religion
discuss how to protect future generations and make this a better world then the one we have today

we cant change religion to take a pun out of the bible, its all written in stone (like the 10 commandments) our future however is not and neither are the lives of those who have been hurt by ppl like max hardcore, they should be our focus rather then something that has been apart of our lives for thousands of years and unfortunately will continue to be

people that live in florida, think movies of people having sex is obscene, but movies that show the beheading, slashing, burning, gutting, and mutilation of people isn't. now THAT is a group of twisted, sick, people.....jesus...and most of those people that helped passed a law like that have kids. and you wonder why there is so much violence in our schools, in the streets, in our homes?????? knuckle-dragging, slopped-headed hypocrites...and that is the nicest way i can put this type of thinking.

Concerning the original article and some of the comments in this thread: I can't say anything new except for the fact it is a sad day when people defend simulating the rape of a minor under the guise of free speech but protest something like a moment of silence.

I see you're one of those Give me PROOF PROOF PROOF people. Nothing wrong with that in an of itself but when one starts asking for evidence to verify something that is common knowledge, that is when it gets a little perplexing.

I see you bringing up the tired Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, and Crusades examples. But did you forget the tens of millions killed under atheistic regimes in the last century? Apparently so. And did you forget all the good religions have done for humanity? Apparently so.

Back to the OP. I will defend anyone's right to say what they want (within reason) but I simply cannot feel sorry for a guy who simulates rape, nevertheless with minors. And, yes, I understand they are adult females only posing as minors but the facts remain the same. The reasons why this is harmful has already been provided.

So you are advocating banning violence? Or is that just an excuse technique for porn? How do you know the same jury wouldn't have found a beheading movie obscene? I think I might think it was obscene.

I bet if Max Hardcore had your daughter strung out on meth and making movies for him you would become one of those "hypocrites" too. That's the way the porn industry works its fueled by drugs. Most ex porn stars admit it - we have their testimonies...

Well this thread seems to have gotten off topic, so lets navigate back towards the OP.

If religious folks want to believe in a giant invisible being in the sky (theres a reason its called "faith" ya know), then that is their right. They lose that right the moment they attempt to force their views on others, such as people calling for porn, or anything else they find "offensive" to be banned/censored.

The niche Max Hardcore specializes in isn't for everyone, but those who disagree with it have zero right to dictate what others may watch. Much the same can be said for any form of censorship.

When puritanical retards implement their will, everyone loses out, especially those who value freedom.

ashley i agree with you that "simulated rape of a minor" is disgusting, and i can tell that you are a person with a kind and giving heart. but if a wife dresses up like a schoolgirl for fantasy sex play with her husband...should that man/and or/woman be sent to prison?

It's a sad day when people call for the censorship of other people simply because they disagree with whats being said.

so if i live in a forida town and the majority of "local yokels" decide that the southern baptist church is obscene, can we pass a law making anyone practicing, not just believing in, that religion, a criminal act and subject to prosecution?

Absolutely not.

And that is all I can say regarding your question.

I totally agree and made a huge stink about such a thing on THIS thread. Silencing opinions is not a good thing [again, within reason].

However, I believe simulated rape of females posing as minors is beyond the limits of reason. Just my two cents. I'm not here to change your mind.
