I have unverified reports that Osama Bin Laden has been captured today. I originate from Pakistan and have communicated with credible sources that this has indeed happened today.

Alright..

My aunt is one of the top lawyers in Pakistan. Her name is Asma Jehanghir. I got a call from her about 10 minutes ago saying that she has reliable info that he has been caught. I didnt get into anymore detail, as it is 1:30 am over there....but as soon as I hear more, I will let you all in on it. I am not attention seeking, merely relaying what I have heard from a very very credible individual in Pakistan, someone "in the know".

This is going to be very, very interesting. The suspense is killing me!!!

ummm he meant he and his family are originally from Pakistan, not that he is in pakistan now. His aunt who supposedly gave him the tip is still in pakistan....clear now.

I am from Pakistan, but I live in NYC now. Asma Jehanghir is my aunt, she lives there, she is one the most prominent lawyers in Pakistan. She has a source who has said that they caught him, and i'm just passing that info onto you all. Cast me into the #ing flames of Hell!

We're not damning you to hell - it's just a very strong assumption to make. I think we all WANT to believe you, but at the same time the facts have to be kept straight.

Even if he was caught today do we really believe it will be announced so soon? Seems the government would want to have some time with him before announcing it, to ensure they got any potential information before spreading word.


Just my .02 worth. On a related topic though, if he is in fact caught do you believe there will be any retaliation? I assume they maybe have his capture designated as a trigger event for sleeper cells to launch attacks (that has always been my fear, his capture causes attacks).

well yeh sorry, when i read it it only had your original post and without evidence etc it did seem abit suspicious.
