Let's do it.

I've been hanging around the Pub without a challenge for too long now. I was actually set to get one scheduled but that was a while ago; things may have moved on.

In any case I am ready to go.

May want to wait until after the weekend though as I will be in the mountains celebrating my freedom and won't have reliable internet access.

Let me know.

I have no preference either.

I've always enjoyed just letting the creator of the debate thread pick a random topic and position for us spur of the moment.

That way we are both given something we couldn't plan for. We also have a greater chance of getting a topic we may not already know a lot about or feel strongly about, thus allowing us to learn for ourselves.

Sounds good.

As I said, I'm ready to get started now, but without access over the long weekend I don't think it would work. We would probably do best to wait and get started next Monday July 7th. If that works for you we can go ahead and have it scheduled to start then.

Great choice of topic! Yes, this should be fun... finally, an excuse to buy those tabloids at the supermarket check-out line! After that last debate, I'm just happy the topic didn't have to do with the NSA, or cheese.
