Bah...the bacteria in Kambucha can be likened to the live cultures in yogurt. Kambucha has a vinegar-esque taste and can be flavored with various 'juice like' tastes.

It can be an acquired taste and one that I like every now and again...

Though your recipe is definitely something I would think twice before I considered ordering it...

One Shanty...

And one Bailey's in the rocks -- I took the liberty of adding a mint garnish -- for the illusrious Ms. Stardust.

files.abovetopsecret.com...

OOPS! I spilled it, one sec, I'll be right back with that after I quickly remake it.

Hey MS - Quick, follow me out to the patio where your first drink order awaits:

The second one is coming, and yes, Ian, I can see you over there waving your hand! I'll be with you ASAP

edit: to freshen up the drink I did not spill

Wow, a bartender that acknowledges a wave, and garnishes correctly! This is a treat...

And we have a 'patio'? I've heard about those! It's where they keep the fresh air and sunlight and stuff.

By the way, Semper's collection of 'American Rider' magazine is not 'pornographic', it just sounds pornographic...

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, MS, but it seems I am all thumbs today. Here is your Rusty Nail:

And for the ever patient Ms. Stardust a Bailey's with a mint sprig.

Now to parse and assemble Ian's request.. (muttering)

edit: to do the requiste freshening of the drinks (i.e. making images show on the page -- a shout out to Ian for the heads up)

Most excellent!

Keep this up and we may even let you skip mop duty.

To help me better improve your service, could someone explain why the images I am loading are not actually loading onto the page?

It feels like I am serving you watered down drinks, and that is the last thing I want to do...

There have been issues with the ATS upload; not sure what it's all about.

I use photobucket...

You should put them inside an 'img' tag, for example:

Gives:

PS: I was just kidding about that Pucker & Rumplemintz concoction! A small single malt, please, splash of water and one ice cube. At your leisure.

Too late, buddy... You ordered that crazy concotion and you're gonna watch me assemble it and drink it, or I am going to go get my broom and use it for something that is not sweeping!

Here goes:

3 parts Kombucha

2 parts Kahlua

1 part Puckers -- we only had watermelon flavor, I'm sure you'll enjoy it...

A dash of Rumplemintz

And a drop of Tabasco

We SHAKE IT ALL UP:

And....

VOILA!

I added the cherry as I have gleaned that you appreciate a garnish and it was also the first kind gift I received in this Pub, from you if I remeber correctly.

Enjoy!

It certainly is a pretty color... the varying components seem to be reacting in a strange melange with one another - what was that cloud of fumes when you were mixing it?

Ok, here goes something....

(tips it back all in one go)

Gaah! Arghhg! Shaw-whee! Whaaa! Mommy? Gork! Splaah...

(whuh) (whuh) Why, (whuh), that's delicious! (grah) (keerple)

Try some, everyone! There's an entire bev-tub full!

Question, though: Why is the glass doing this, now?

(sighs, picks Ian and MS off the unusually, in fact remarkably, clean floor and props them back up at the bar)

I say we get that new guy, Oscitate -- who, IMVHO, made a formidable debut -- and make him drink it. And then...

... let's see if he can clean the floors around here and serve drinks at the same time. (begins to chant: "hazing, hazing for Oscitate")

TWISI, thanks for covering for me. I owe you one.

I would have been here earlier, but I got lost in a thread about manwives.

Anybody else here got a Stein? Something my grandfather got while staying in Berlin after WW2. Those things rock.

I've got several Steins at the house, although none of them are authentic German Steins.

If we have any at the bar though, I'll take mine filled with a nice Sam Adams specialty brew. Doesn't matter which one.

*Sits down after an arduous day at work and pours himself a Potato vodka with garlic stuffed green olives. (yes it does exist!). The juke-box flares on and plays "I get knocked down" and he promptly starts to square dance.*

I'm still sober, but tonight's the night.

Morning all. Schro Dog u2u'ed me and wanted me to convey the fact that there were complications of sorts and he has checked himself back into the hospital. Could be a day or two.

He sends his apologies and regards...
