I'd love to debate you at some point, if we can find a mutually agreeable topic.

I think it would be something that could teach you a lot about how to debate in a properly aggressive manner instead of all the pussyfooting around with politeness that you all seem to do

Pussyfooting?!?

I as well would love to debate you and as soon as this tournament is over, I am back in the game. I have been biting my tongue seemingly every day when it comes to these debates and when I get back, I will be taking no prisoners...

Budski obviously has not met the Memoryshock I have in the debate ring...

He is in for a rude awakening...

Hhhmmm...seems to be a regional reference whose connotation I am currently unable to discern....though the 'miss' seems to be an obvious hit on my masculinity....how to respond, how to respond...

Nuh Uh...You Are!

God, I do love a bit of smack talk

Same here and oh how I miss it...

Sorry - a James Bond pun

If that's the level of your understanding of "punnery" then you will be in the same place as Sempers Preparation H

Smack talk is the puppies undercarriage, the mutts nuts - I refer you to a quaint colloquialism from the UK, here

I too can vouch for MS.

We had a debate...oh about a year ago that I regrettably was unable to finish due to some family issues.

It may have been fortunate for me because I was getting my ass handed to me in a rather efficient manner.

Of course, that was in my younger, more vulnerable days as a rookie debater.

Things would be different this time around....

Semper...he did indeed just say that. I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I think that budski has earned this...

"I could whip you in a debate using only lolcat speak."

There. It is done.

You had the lucky distinction of meeting me in the ring after a very long hiatus...

And I too think that things may be different these days. You are finally starting to get your legs and confidence...you are truly a force to be reckoned with...

As is budski, which I won't admit fully until he stops the namecalling...

I don't remember calling you any names....

Although now that you mention it, a few spring to mind

I refer you to my last post, and the link therein

Oh this is much more fun than the Black Friday threads...

What is this, two-barstool-per-ego night?

Vodka martini, please. Any ole way ya wanna mix it.

Yep, things are definatly getting fun around here.

I'll go ahead and get a cold Samuel Adams. Oktoberfest if we got it. I love those Sam Adams seasonal brews.

You can have it stirred rather than shaken - you haven't got your license to kill yet.....

I needed some light relief, and the pub has provided it.

BTW I REALLY enjoyed your debate with semper - truly epic stuff

Thanks, I enjoyed it, too... I wasn't kidding when I said that having to respond to Semper can be amusingly exasperating, tough stuff! After seeing the judge's verbosity on the first round 3 debate results, I'm a little trepidatious / anxious.

So, if 'shaken' is a license to kill, what's 'extra olives'? A license to make ironic remarks? Got mine years ago!

Nah - the olives are having the nuts to take semper on at his own game and doing a good job of it

Although the green colour of olives is, I hope, not descriptive

I can hardly wait until the stigma of 'debatus interruptus' is gone from me.

I wouldn't mind the distraction of a good debate right about now. Gimme a chance, Budski. If you're able, I'm willing.

I'm sure you would consider me an 'easy' 'warm up'....
(for the beating that MS is no doubt intending to inflict upon you.)

... dang! I can't talk smack to save my life!
