Hate to break it to you, but I don't think inebriated nudist hamsters are gonna pass the muster around here.

I think you're only seeing what you want to see! That's his belly-button!

PS: Another Long Island Ice Tea, please.

Belly button. Riiiight...

Keep telling yourself that.

*slides over a tall fresh drink with an extra cherry*

I think these teas are starting to get to your head.

Yes, I was sort of wondering why he had two of them....
I felt I could just blame it on your drinks though.

Or perhaps, like schrodinger, he's a special hamster? And, similarly, I won't pretend to know how that works...

Ian, my brother, hamster porn ain't right.

m_s, isn't there something in the t&c about that.

Loose hamsters give the rest of us a bad name.

SD, your hamster gives hamsters a bad name.

*shivers*

Seriously, zombiehamster is delivering some bad mojo.

He's not a zombie, he's just a little upset about his 401k.

I can certainly empathize with that.

Drown your sorrows for awhile. I'll grab the tissue box.

Yikes, you too S-Dog? Sorry to hear about that friend.

Tonight, I am drinking blended Scotch, in solidarity, and thinking of all the times I deliberate called it a 'Four-Zero-One Kay', and endured the amused looks of my co-workers.

Fortunately,
, I now live with nothing to my name.

They are coming in; patience, my friend. In order to do right by you guys this process takes the time it does...though I know everyone is itching like crazy.

I remember my first tournament...I burnt out the refresh button in the first day...

Congratulations to chissler for a well deserved win.

That debate was a lot of fun the entire way through, unfortunately I took a couple of hard blows early on and could never fully recover.

I'll wait patiently for a rematch chissler....

Had you brought up the global aspect of the debate earlier, I think it would have been a different story.

As do I. You got me up against the ropes early though and I spent too much time trying to refute your argument than make my own.

That's the way it goes though, you earned it.

Due to "real world" commitments, I haven't been able to take part in this tourney, as I couldn't be sure I would be able to commit the time and effort.

In a way, I'm glad, because the standard has been exceptionally high, and I probably would have had my ass handed to me on a silver platter at an early stage

That said, I've enjoyed reading the debates - they have been great, and truly educational, which IMO is what a good debate should be.

Maybe I can join in the next tourney - but I'm really going to have to up my game to have a chance of progressing.

Kudos to all who have taken part - the debates have been, IMO, a showcase of why ATS is a great site, and is where it is.

I agree.

I've always found the debate forums to hold the "cream of the crop" as it were. Although I try to refrain from talking that way because a lot of people tend to look down on that sort of exceptionalism.

I'm just proud to be a part of the debate team here.

I still contend that everyone in the tournament is extremely lucky that I'm not participating. It would have been mightily discouraging for all.

That said, here is a preview of the two debate topics for Round Four:

"MemoryShock Would Have Walked Right Through This Tournament To The Championship Without Breaking A Sweat."

Fighter 1 will argue the Pro position.
Fighter 2 will argue the Pro position.

"The Debate Forum Should Have Canceled The Second Debate Tournament Of 2008 And Just Given The Championship To MemoryShock."

Fighter 1 will argue the Pro position.
Fighter 2 will argue the Pro position.

Hey, just because I am moderating doesn't mean that I can't talk a bit of smack myself...

Edit to Add: I too agree wholeheartedly that this tournament has really contained an excellent group of Fighters who have stepped up their game mightily. My hats off to all and were we all to visit a bar/pub in real life, the first round would be on me...
