What a hell of a weekend. We had a big family get-together yesterday. I swear the grill was running non-stop. Then somehow I was hoodwinked into hosting an impromptu sleep over for my son and a couple of his cousins. They are ages 6 - 8 and all boys.

Needless to say, I need a drink. Especially since schro-dog is buying.

I'm in the mood for something sweet. Maybe a sloe gin fizz would hit the spot.

P.S. - SD you can DJ the next party! Just let us know what you're gonna spin!

I can do that.
No requests though.

I'm not shlepping Milli Vanilli for you.

I thought no more bar tending after I broke 100k.
I'm still waiting for the hat I was promised.

Never had it, but it sounds stout.

I take it comes with a little umbrella.

*google, google*

Okay, maybe no umbrella. What the hell I'm game!

BTW, love your avvy!

Oh that's wonderful... I've never seen a little furry creature look so aloof, confused, and with such an obvious expression of 'why am I wearing this shiny little hat'...

What is that, anyway? A prairie dog of some sort? A hamster? One of those would make sense.

Akvavit is just fine. Schro, you no longer need to pour, but of course if you (or anyone) could find MemoryShock a closer parking space than the Walmart 2 1/2 blocks away, we would all appreciate that (oh! the mud he tracks in!).

Hey Ian,
Have you posted your mug on the photos of members on BTS?

There's a dandy one of Shock wearing a codpiece.
What is a codpiece?

A codpiece (from Middle English cod, "scrotum") is a flap or pouch that attaches to the front of the crotch of men's trousers to provide a covering for the genitals.

No not yet, but shortly after I joined there was speculation that this was my most recent photo...

BTW, in case you and Maria were wondering where your debate came from: *

'Chasm'. It's a dead give-away.

Anybody said when we can expect results for Round 3 yet? Perhaps I missed that…

Well, maria and I were the last to finish our debate yesterday. Skyfloating won his by default and the other two are finished and locked. So we're all done with round 3.

Last round it took about a week to judge all the debates. But there were obviously twice as many as this round. MS can chime in on this, but I think we should expect results by the end of the week.

So are we calling our spot the "Korova Milk Bar"
The Korova Milk Bar sells Milk Plus: milk plus synthemesc, vellocet, or drencrum, which is what we were drinking. This will sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultraviolence.

Codpieces for all!

My opponent seems to have missed his 24 extension deadline. I do not wish to deprive him of his first rebuttal. Or is it bad form to wait longer?

Nop, you win buddy, or at least you should.
Missing his deadline after a 24hr extension and that shameful three paragraph opening statement isn't behavior becoming a fighter.
Strip him of his title then tar, feathers, flail.

I'm so mad at him!

Ouch! That's harsh!

Dang it. I was stoked about the topic too.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk.

I guess it's one way to avoid losing.

Cool pic! You blew your tin foil hat off!

Yes indeed I have missed my deadlines.... I have been distracted. Todays events have totally absorbed my attention.... For the record only one of my reference were cooperate The other one was LLC. I meant to commit to it but In light of todays events I seriously wonder about the importance of it.....

In 1 hour An asteroid will hit the earth or dissolve.

The market was insane today and I wonder about my families money.

I tell you this.. if it is left open and all is good tomorrow I shall respond.

Also I would dare to say that more words do not convey a more clear point. I only use the amount of words I believe needed to convey any given point.

Semper's the moderator, so it's his call, but as I look at it, Max has about 18 hours to post his first response, or request an extension, or the debate's could be called a wash.

Or, we could all gang-up and give him a run for his money.

Also, insert less-imposing Achilles in-his-tent analogy here.

I'll post ... The gang up part would be quite interesting... how could you coordinate a multiple rebuttal efforts... I think you guys would tear each other apart

I am going to wait though until I am sure my opponent can't make it.

I posted my next segment of the Corporate tax break debate.

I couldn't wait any longer, I may not be at the computer for a while so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If y'all wanna try to team up against me, go for it!

Peace.

Edit to add: canceled meetings.... that's always a nice way to end one's day!

In light of my family recently losing their retirement and my total disgust and contempt for the corporate system I have regrettably conceded. My apologies to Semper and Maxmars and to all who were interested in the subject.
