I had some with savoury and then one filled with Chunky Monkey ice-cream. That's about as exciting as my day got - I miss debating was great fun for those days. Hope to do it again soon.

No, I'm an Ulster man living in England but Pancake Tuesday is something I've always loved since being a child. Its like the nice Halloween for me.

I tried to explain that to a friend tonight who just let me witter on as usual but its the night when theres some special feasting as the evenings noticeably get lighter in contrast to the halloween one were its getting really noticably darker. (Plus I hate all those ghosites and things which is why I whistle and close my eyes when scrolling past Heike's spookie posts - I don't wanna know what the dead say unless it's: "We're sorry there's no one at home right now, please leave a message after the bell tolls")

i am german and live in berlin

in berlin people don.t celebrate carneval but they are crazy about pancakes which are big filled donuts in this case but yummie

pancakes with special fillings are made on carneval , november 11th (start of the carneval season) and new years eve!

(you can have standard all the time)


i also whistled heike.s audio with closed eyes away. interesting stuff, but i wouldn.t be able to sleep if i would listen to it. so i bow my head that heike is able to handle it!

halloween is nice and scary, but carneval is at the beginning of spring - tomorrow is ash wendesday (i am not religious but was brought up catholic so such days are like milestones in the year)
ash wendesday + another 40 days means EASTER

isn.t that great? sun comes back, it will get warmer - lovely
