Why yes. Some things take me hours and hours to do, however.

Thank you for caring about my productivity.

Excellent Heike cant wait for more on your RL adventures with the paranormal.

Good morning everyone!~ I think I am going to go take a nap, one of those mornings that are just cold and dreary outside, perfect for curling up for a late morning nap. I do love to cuddle with my down comforters...

Check back later xo

Morning FCP

The debates look like they're coming along nicely... makes me wish I had of been able to participate

Interesting stuff Heike - I'm not so good when it comes to picking things out or hearing anything...but it'll be interesting to hear some of the other stuff you picked up on.

You can suture our debate up as well.

Yes, but you didn't lock the thread.

I think it would have upset my stomach to swallow the little closing-rant I had been thinking about. Besides, it really is an important topic - it's far too easy to brush aside a better future as 'naive idealism', and paint the flaws of the day as 'necessary evils'.

Hey look, I had a little rant left in me.

Good points...

And I won't lock it; there isn't any real reason to...

What an incredibly slow day....

Speaking of slow, is this site running slow for anyone today or is it just me?

@Nyk: If you are bored we could swap some more recipes (thanks for that, btw) or talk about eggs some more! I forgot to mention that I am at sea level and the exactly 5min. boil time is based on that -- if you're on a mountain you have to do whatever math you have to do for cook times and elevation...

Ah...elevation....the cooks best enemy...

Every time I go down to visit my parents in Tennessee I generally botch the first thing I cook because I forget to account for the change in elevation.

Indeed, I see you've taken this rare opportunity to assist on some herd thinning.

Any chance I get.

If there's one thing in this world I have absolutely no tolerance for it's whining.

You'd think that most people would realize that whining gets you no where....fast. :shk:

I don't know...some people just think they are special or something.

Or just need the attention.

Either way, I try to have fun with it.

Yup...some people haven't gotten past the fact that other people live in this world as as such they are not always the 'operational narrative'.

Or just need the attention.

Funnily enough, contributing in a respectful manner to ongoing discussions can be an effective way to gain attention.

Well that person obviously felt entitled to something.

Maybe they can find it elsewhere.....
