You can't have a fireplace? Geez! Another reason to stay in Okieland, where there'd probably be a full-scale revolt if they tried to pass a law like that.

I was 10001. First posts on a new page are always an even number in multiples of 20.

Ok, I'll leave this one for a while. But, since I figured out how to use the picture gallery on the ATS media, I have over a dozen avatars to choose from! I'll try not to run through a whole dozen in one day like SchroDog does, though.

I do believe that MemoryShock was the 10,000th poster. Each page has 20 posts. Heike, being the first poster at the top of the page, was 10,001.

The first page has 20 posts. 1 OP and 19 replies. Each page after that has 20 replies.

MemoryShock's post at the bottom of page 500 is post #10,000, but reply #9,999.
Heike's post at top of page 501 is post #10,001, but reply #10,000.

So Shock has the 10,000th post and I have the 10,000th reply. I think we can share the honors, awards, and prizes, don't you, Shock?

And at the very least, you'd think someone would be serving us drinks by now.
