Enjoying this debate, its a very different style to the ones I've done before.

What's everyone else up to?

Morning everyone.

Sheesh, this place has gone from lighthearted pub to a meeting of the rules committee.

Thank you kind sir! Less acclaim and more a correction, now I know. I enjoyed your trap and have diffused it by giving it a star to alert moderators to your alphabetical error - deliberate I know. As the "tiebreaker" allow me to suggest what sentence might have started your errant post:

"Just marmalade? I can't do without a little nutella on the side."

And pdf's of two different chapters of one book are apparently two resources even if they're found on one web page. But I assume that if I actually owned the book and referenced that instead, the two chapters would count as one resource.

how can you use a book as a reference?
the judges can.t read it coz you got it but they dont!

5 references:
i usually included the references i took from my opponent as references including the 5
usually i use to prove something different with them as my opponent did!

I refuse to think about references today for fear that I will not only lose my Fighter status but be permanently banned from ATS for being a pain in semperfortis's neck.

I have generally counted my opponents' references against my count also, but something said yesterday implied that that was not right. And I don't know if there's any reason that the judges have to have online access to all your sources – it's nice, but if I've learned something in life outside ATS that's relevant I see no reason not to use that in the debate.

Now, I'm going to have some coffee and some yogurt and proofread my post. And never mention sources again to anyone but GAOTU who apparently has been nominated to handle me thanks to his infinite patience and wisdom

I don't know if it's cave life that's got him wound up, or if I just have a special way of getting under his skin, but I'm pretty sure he was wishing he could club me over the head last night

If that's the case, my new plan of relying on BS and rhetoric might have a flaw.

I do know this. Semper's a sweetie, almost as much as MemoryShock is. But a lot less pink. Not even a touch of communism in semperfortis. :shk:

If he weren't such a sweetie, I would not have survived last night.

I think this is probably part of the issue. And I don't think that rhetoric and resources are mutually exclusive. But I will not talk about it today. Please don't let me talk about it today?

My next post is up.

Wukster! How ya doin? Good to see you.

OL: BS literally refers to the feces of a male bovine. General American usage refers to smack talk, bragging, boasting, exaggerating, joking around, saying things that aren't true ...

For example, if I said that MemoryShock is a mean, hateful son-of-a-gun who terrorizes the Fighters and rules the FCP with an iron fist, you could properly say: "BS!"

(On the other hand, if I said that about Semper you should just ask me what kind of flowers I prefer while you still have the chance.)
