I lived for a time in northern India and while I was there lived almost exclusively as a vegetarian. Most there do. It's even a very big deal when they have an occasional egg !
I became more healthy than I had been in years. What with the combination of the macrobiotic vegetarian food, and all the exercise.
I know from personal experience it's possible to be very healthy with a vegetarian lifestyle. The diet does include milk and fresh, unfermented cheese as well. Probably for the B12 vitamins, if I had to guess.

In a matter of 18 months, once back in the good old US, I had reverted back from being in the best shape of my life to being a typical overweight, out of shape desk-jockey again ...
These days I do make a serious effort to severly limit my red-meat intake, and to stay the heck out of McDonalds at all cost ... I do know now how to mantain a balanced vegetarian diet which I don't make a very good effort at these days.

I sit quietly for a couple of days and what happens? I see seasoned fighter Orange-light make repeated requests DRINKS and DOUGHNUTS and they are met
with no response from the new fighters (respectful nod to Carot for courteously taking care of their business).
For sham!... er... and.. For shame! I call for "pounds of flesh"!
My suggestion, for every Fresh Fighter who posted more than once since the first request was made by OL has to deliver her double drinks and doughnuts at their every post in the FCP until the end of their first debate.
And don’t think we don’t know who you are, and in case you don’t you don’t know who you are, I suggest that you all double back over the last six pages.
To example:
"Here you go, OL. I am sorry I was so delinquent, I hope you enjoy it and if there is anything else, please don't hesitate to ask."
To make this suggestion a bit more charitable for the specifically guilty, I will personally forgo my drink requests until which time your penance is paid.
