Sorry, I have been running around getting the various drinks, somehow, I must have missed what you wanted:

Please sir? tell me what you would like to drink, and I will make sure it is completely to your liking and your demands.

Yes, you forum-moderator interlocutory, you. Posting access to FCP is limited to those with a 'fighter' tag, only. Congrats on your match-up.

On that note, I will have a Bacardi Gold with Ginger Ale, if you would. Snap snap.

I know you had asked neformore to get this for you, but figuring he/she is very busy with moderating (plus, sshhh don't say anything...I am doing this for him/her to get on their good side...we have a debate coming up - maybe he/she will go easier on me - by my helping out)

Here sir is your Bacardi Gold - straight from Puerto Rico

Let me place that on the table and add some ginger ale

Then mix those two together.... and.......whallla.... your drink.....

This is my one and only maudlin post

perhaps

I've been playing May You never by John Martyn all day - literally, on my guitar.

Any guitar players who want to try, here's the chords etc - refer back to the vid for timing

For guitar players and non guitar players - read the lyrics

THE SONG STARTS OFF WITH A NICE DROP DOWN FROM X02225 TO X02O23. WE THEN
D Dsus2 D NOTE
GO TO ALTERNATING ONCE ONTO X00230 AND FINISH ON A XXXX3X.
Em7 A
HOP SKIP AND JUMP UP ONTO ish X20033 AND DROP ONTO X20032. IS PLAYED NEXT.
DECENDING UP THE B STRING PLAY D ON THE 3rd FRET AND A ON THE 5rd fret , HERE IS THE
D
PROGRESSION X0222X THEN X0223X THEN X0225X. NOW THE CHORD IS PLAYED, YOU
Em7
THEN PLAY X20033 AND DROP ONTO X20032,WE NOW PLAY THE PROGRESSION X0222X
D D
THEN X0223X THEN X0225X AND BACK TO . WE FINISH ALTERNATING BETWEEN AND
THAT FUNKY CHORD X20032 .... It's basically a 12-bar blues pattern, altered
to 16 bar and charged with harmonic density

May You Never By John martyn
CAPO ON 2nd FRET
A A7 D X20033
May you never lay your head down
A D
Without a hand to hold;
Em7 A D
May you never make your bed out in the cold.

A
You're just like great strong brother of mine;
D X20032 D
And you know that I love you true.
X20032
A
And you never talk dirty behind my back,
D X20032
And I know that there's those that do.
X20032

A X0223X
Oh please won't you , please won't you
XO225X
Bear it in mind:
X20032
Love is a lesson to learn in our time.
A X0223X
Now please won't you , please won't you
XO225X D X20032
Bear it in mind for me.
IT'S TBE SAME FOR TBE REST OF TBE SONG

May you never lay your head down
Without a hand to hold;
May you never make your bed out in the cold.

You're just like a good close sister to me,
And you know that I love you true.
And you hold no blade to stab me in my back,
I know that there's some that do.

Oh please won't you, please won't you
Bear it in mind:
Love is a lesson to learn in our time.
And please won't you, please won't you
Bear it in mind for me.

May you never lay your head down
Without a hand to hold;
May you never make your bed out in the cold.

You're just like a great strong brother of mine,
You know that I love you true.
And you never talk dirty behind my back,
And I know that there's those that do.

Oh please won't you, please won't you
Bear it in mind:
Love is a lesson to learn in our time.
And please won't you, please won't you
Bear it in mind for me.

May you never lose your temper,
If you get in a bar-room fight.
May you never lose your woman overnight.
May you never lay your head down
Without a hand to hold;
May you never make your bed out in the cold.

May you never lose your temper
If you get in a bar-room fight;
May you never lose your woman overnight.
May you never lose your woman overnight;
May you never lose your woman overnight.

*) There is a version with the following second verse:
You've been just like a good and close mother to me,
And you know I love you like I should.
You never talk about me behind my back,
And I know that there's times you could.

Thanks to chordie

that's where I learned it from

I got a Photobucket account for my bartending days here. It saved a lot of hassle, no longer having to buy space with points all the time

BTW: thanks, that is exactly what I did, it is much easier than the member upload, especially, since the upload center doesn't want to work for me anymore, ...uploads, but then clicking on the image link, says nothing there. OH well, will do photobucket for now on.
Thanks again, for the suggestion.

Well actually I had to go to Puerto Rico first to get the finest they had, as I would not dare, serve you just the "regular" Bacardi Gold.
You deserve only the finest.

Thus, it took a little longer to get.

I trust you went to Ireland and France to get the best guiness and pernod as well?

I've been looking for a smiley with just one raised eyebrow, but I couldn't find it.

Hope they enjoyed their coffee

Yes, I came back in, to make sure - everyone was happy and see if anyone needed anything.

I found just exactly what you wanted...

And since you had not specified, what size of Modelo you wanted, or if you liked it in a can or bottle, I wanted to bring all those to you, so you can choose which vessel and size is of your liking...

Enjoy! Cheers!

Hi Orange-light,

let me first say, I bow to your debates, I have found them very good, and am trying to learn from them.

You did not specify what type of Rum you would like in your Cuba Libre, so I thought - I would use the "finest" as I did earlier. Since I had already gone to Puerto Rico - to get their finest Bacardi Gold, I have thus used it for your drink also.

So first I will set the Bacardi down on the table....

AAH, let me get the coke for you....

Now, where did I put that lime???? UMMM - Oh there it is....

AHH, now to add them all together.....

with a little extra lime on the side..., just in case you wanted a little more squeeze of one.

Enjoy - Cheers!
