If anyone is interested….there is a 2 year old picture of me in the BTS picture thread.

It's the only picture of myself I've ever posted here….and I chose an old low res one.

Personally I prefer a game that requires intelligence - not just memorizing moves from a book.

A game that ebbs and flows with passion - not one that stops every 5 seconds so that I can see another beer/gun commercial.

A game of subtlety and skill - not one where they just hit head on and hope that someone can find a gap

A game where the word "football" actually means contact between foot and ball - not just throwing it around whilst trying to see out of a motorcycle crash helmet.

I could go on, but I'm bored just thinking about it - it's even worse than baseball

OL - nah, that's just a woman being a woman. Us real men know they are never wrong.

do you have much soccer in the states?

It's become more popular. My seven year-old son has been playing the last couple of years. He's a pretty decent goalie.

but i know women are the better men!

Like I said, I got no problem with it.

My daughter will be playing soccer next year as a matter of fact. I've actually coached youth soccer for the last few years as well.

I just don't care to watch it or follow it professionally.

Nope.

I've looked a LOT younger than I actually am my whole life. Sometimes it can be a bit of a burden, other times it's not.

That picture was also taken like 3 days after my daughter was born....I've aged considerably since then...

I find the coaching part surprising.

No offense, but how can you coach a sport if you haven't played it or have an in depth knowledge of it.

Now if you think you DO have an in depth knowledge, I'll gladly debate you on the sport

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd post a pic, but I don't know where or how.

At least that's my excuse

i commented in the photothread
but i also thought you would have been older, somewhat inyour mid 30s
you look like being in your 20s

but parenthood makesd you getting older

wait for puberty that is a blast for wrinkles

@maria
my problem with the son playing footie have been the people in the club, all a bit very common, like chavvys.
so i didn.t mind that much when my son stopped it
if a boy wants to be successfull in footie here he has to start club with 3, mine started with 8 and that was to old to catch up with the others
