what font did you use for the 2 versions of fight club pup?

my font was "neon"

I'm sorry orange - I didn't see this post when you were online

The first version of the Fight Club Pub seal design used a font called "Cracked"

The second uses "Bridgnorth" for the words "Fight Club Pub" and "Apple Chancery Ultra-light" for the motto.

The championship mug design uses a font called "Ikarus" for all the lettering.

The motto on the back of the FCP seal mug design uses "Bickham Script Pro"

The fonts that didn't come with either the computer or various software packages are free downloads from www.1001freefonts.com...

How in the hell did we end up with a pink unicorn on a black tee as part of the official FCP line of products?

I was considering a clever response, involving perhaps the wisdom of combining telepresence, machine guns, and Scotch, but I was put off by the consideration of the possibility of more yvids, emoticons, or scathing nonchalance from the mods.

Keep up the good fight!

So will you wear it? I bet orange-light could design a special pink unicorn shirt just for you, with "MemoryShock" on the back

it is a sweet harmless unicorn, a bit underestimate, but it is able to fight!
we can do the "memoryshock" even in front of the shirt, in a very harmless looking font!

no problem at all!

all i want is a photo with mem wearing it!

I think that's what he was afraid of,... though it would probably be okay, as long as he didn't tie it off at the midriff, or wear a matching hat.

thanks for the coffee ian !

hope it takes the headache caused for sleeping toooooooooooooo long away

btw. has anybody ever heard that a girl isn.t able to sleep that long when she gets older
a lady i know called it "pre-senile flight from bed"
do i really have to expect that when getting older?
it might keep me away from spending my nights awake?

Greetings Pub!

I am up since 5 AM fretting over an EBay auction -- yes, I have no shame and I will tell you guys anything. No secrets here.

Anyway, does anyone have any tricks or suggestions for winning an Ebay auction these days? I don't do it often and they have changed the 'format' since I last suited up for a showdown (I used to use multiple browsers) and I really, really hope to win this item. Any and all suggestions vm appreciated.

orange and Ding, nice work!

I quit using Ebay years ago after getting ripped off on a pair of ruby and diamond earrings I spent a fortune on. They were gorgeous in the picture but when I got them, they were teeny tiny little studs. The diamond was so small you literally couldn't see it with the naked eye. I only knew it was there when I moved it under a light and saw a glimmer the size of a pin's head. The ruby (smaller than a grain of rice but was supposed to be 1 karat each) didn't look right to me either so I took it to a Jeweler's while getting my wedding ring resized. Sure enough, they were fake, contrary to the auction's claim.

Then I started using Ebay ONLY for items I couldn't find anywhere else like hard-to-find DVD's. But multiple times in a row the 'new sealed DVD' turned out to be someone's home dubbing or an Asian rip off that wouldn't even play on American DVD players. So I finally gave up. lol

Anyways, the best trick I know of is called 'sniping' insert your highest willing bid during the last couple of seconds of the auction. You'll hardly ever have to pay that much as your bid is only increased to slightly over another bidder's highest bid. Also, bid crazy amounts. Instead of $10, bid $10.07.

Thanks for the advice, I will use it. I am afraid I am going up against the Seller (under a different name) or one of those loan-out buyers. It is an antique item that is well undervalued and there was no activity until I sent the seller an inquiry about shipping last night.

I have lust in my heart for the item, so I will probably be irrational... sigh... Know thyself, right? Vintage stuff is my weakness... if it's old it's for me.

Exactly one hour to go... tick-tock.

Have you been bidding on the item already? I never, ever bid on it until near closing. If you do, someone else will come in and up your bid (like the seller may be doing to you now). I would only 'watch' the item (there is a feature for that) without bidding that way I wouldn't get caught in any bidding wars and the price would needlessly go up.

If you've been bidding a few times on it already, stop until the end. Never bid in advance.

@twisi, thanks for the kudos!

ebay: i can only second what ashley already adviced.
sometimes i start to bid earlier, but only on stuff which is online for about 3 days and nobody seems to be interested in. i bid minimum than, and i watch it closely the last seconds, when i am highly interested in.

today i got pink boots via ebay (twisi said no secrets
)
