EDIT TO ADD:

What? I though everyone could do that.

Am I strange or something?

Maybe most people just don't try... or have a reason to.

Annoying sometimes, really. Having spent decades looking at film, video, etc., with an eye to visual imperfections and technical seams, it's often hard for me not to notice them. For example, the 'Digital Projectors' they're using at some movies, now. Really annoying - I keep noticing the individual pixels and the clipped visible color gamut compared to film. And I can't watch cable TV any more - the MPEG macroblock artifacts are way too distracting - I turn it off in frustration after a few minutes. Of course, content also makes me do that, too.

And sometimes the world looks Photoshopped.

The interesting part is that you don't have a tv.
Probably on account of them talking to you.

He can "hear leaky caps in power supplies"!

Is able to " 'smell' electrical equipment to get an idea of its age"!

And can click his teeth to "tell the difference between PAL and NTSC"!

It’s a geek!

It’s a game designer!

No, it’s...

Our Beloved Debate Champion Ian M.TM!

And that's not all I can do....

Come on, FCP - what special and strange talents do our Fighters have? I bet Memoryshock can carry a dozen shot glasses in a single hand. Or S-dog can post sarcastically on three threads simultaneously, while watching a hockey match. And Skyfloating can always think of a longer word, no matter what.

Fess up!

Inquiring minds do want to know about the other things you can do, right after we learn about the journey that lead you to realize you were in posession of these amazing gifts.

That was two years ago...I can now drink a dozen shots while carrying them in a single hand...simultaneously...

But clicking teeth is cool too...

TWISI: Another skill - I can cross my eyes and solve those "find the difference between these two photo" puzzles by looking at a single composite image. And I can crack my knuckles all day, though I rarely do anymore because I'm getting too old to really enjoy it.

And I 'smell' electrical equipment to get an idea of its age, how much it's been used, and manufacturing quality. It works -- again, try it, the chemical outgassing and 'ozone'-like smell is quite distinct -- I'm kind of weird that way, I guess.

Uh, yeah. That's what makes you weird

And sometimes the world looks Photoshopped.

You did see The Matrix, right?

@TWISI: I appreciated the offer of a hand up, but I think I'm looking for someone a bit more, well, male. And physically present.

Wait, are we applauding? I'm still a little zoned out from cold medicine...

You can clap for me too, if you want. But first I need help getting (and staying) on my pedestal

Sorry you're still not feeling well.

Your avatar balances well enough on her cliff-top. I like that version of the card - holding forth her purse is all so apt for our society.

But I wouldn't have guessed that as your signifier, though.
