Nah. I'm more of the bare knuckles barrom brawler type, and structering cramps my swing. Besides, material girls leave me cold.

And MS, those waders for my posts are good for your mental health, not to mention all the physical exercise you get hunting a dictionary.

Does anyone know what happened to the September 11 debate that was set up and just sitting there?

Is it on hold, or do we know?

I try and follow every debate and was really looking forward to this one...

I was going to say "peace' in ending this post, but it's a fight club thread, and that would be about as kosher as passing out ham sandwiches at a barmitzvah.

chissler is a fighter that I would love see finally get a solid footing. He has proven to be a great fighter and in my opinion lost a couple of heartbreakers...

And if WyrdeOne ever showed back up...we would all be in for it....though I was close to finally seeing him in the ring on two occasions...

Yep, listening to you guys talk about these previous, great debates has given me the itch. I'm gonna have to set something up with someone around here...about anything.

And on a side-note, I was always quite partial to the "team-debate" set up too. That would be something fun to get going again.

How about a Team Debate with teams of two, alternating replies and no U2U's between team members.. (Honor System of course)

Do it just for fun....

A new concept might be having four people (two teams) participating in ONE Challenge-Match with alternating replies.

I think this is a great idea.

Of course we may have to alter the format a little to accommodate a team of 4. We could assign one person the opening statement, 2 others 1 reply each, and the 4th member the closing statement....or something completely different.

I think that would be a very interesting match though.

I'm all for it.

**Edit to add that my line of thinking here was that we would have 2 teams of 4**
