That's too bad Bud but RL can be uncooperative sometimes.
I don't feel too bad claiming this win to tell you the truth as I was clearly winning this one.

The pending "Coup de Grâce" that I was going to spring on you on my last post would have just sealed the deal.

As it now matters not, let me share with everyone the final piece of evidence of flying reindeer. It is a hand written letter from the actual creator of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer addressed personally to my opponent (it is real btw):

Bud, this was written just for you a few days ago, I hope it will help you regain some of your Christmas spirit and wonder.

Reindeer can fly!

SDog WINS!

Bummer - It would have been great to see Budski's reaction to that.

It was an excellent debate you two, and the funniest one of the Skirmish event...

That's unfortunate, as I was in the process of trying to relieve time constraints with mem.

I too had items in reserve, but alas, the time of death has been entered on the chart

This was a pleasure and a great laugh sdog - let's do it again in the new year.

When you have recovered from your hangover.

I have to do all my xmas shopping tomorrow, so cheer will be in short supply.

I may even shout bah humbug at people singing carols.

Actually, make that definite

Anytime Bud, how about:

"Boxing day should involve actual boxing between family members"

As I'm of Irish extraction, and we call it St. Stephens day, I think that may be moot.

How about "New year - out with the old, in with the new or SSDD"
(SSDD = same "stuff" different day)

Or even new years resolutions "I will no longer get drunk and make a fool of myself in FCB"

Particularly apt for both of us

I have a few hours to mess about on ATS before the next lot arrive, which is one of the perils of living by the sea - THE JOY!
How I've missed it

I prefer to keep my expectations realistic.

Like being able to leave the FCP for one day without it turning mauve.
Shock, what's up with that?

My apologies to sdog, semper and mem and all the fighters, because I'm going to have to forfeit.

Aw that sucks, Bud. Your and S-dog's debate was cracking me up terribly! It is very understandable how real life can get in the way though, especially around the holidays. I'm mostly sad because the debate was so darn funny. Hope your upcoming days become less stressful for you. We've had a lot of company, including overnight as well, but I just tell them to leave me alone when I'm on ATS.

Around the mouth, under eye bags, and in between the eyes due to scowling all the time. But I was kidding- I stopped caring after saying, 'I do.'
jk. And you're close. I'm 29.
Thanks again.

That's awesome! I would have spit my coffee out upon seeing that in the debate.

That's not how I heard it.
Apparently you were all for it, even providing your own pantone!

Unfortunately, I couldn't.

I hinted, but they ignored it, or didn't get it.

I'm going for the latter.

Never mind.

I have more coming tomorrow as well - but they aren't as high maintenance.

Hopefully.

Completely understandable. Just look on the bright side, at least you are loved and have people who obviously care about you to share this special time with.

Not trying to be the annoying positive person. Just trying to help you see the good in it.

Sorry to see the debate end but I do understand.

I must be honest. That pillow completely clashes with the plaid print of the couch/bench/daybed (whatever it is lol). That lavender tone isn't in the plaid print.

i would just stick to the cushions.
we definitly need a new couch!

white would be lovely with the lavender cushions
this is with orange cushions but enough room for all the fighters
although i know white can be a bit tricky, at least i am tricky with white shirts
