It seems like a crazy position, but I think I might have an angle to at least make this interesting...

I'm convinced it's illegal North Pole black market phosphorus injections.

Exactly. And I'll state publicly what I told him privately. Those government documents proving how Santa was strong armed out of the election are safe and sound in my care. They were worse to him that Ron Paul, I tell you. He never had a chance.

Yes, I'm not funny. I already know this but I do it to amuse myself.

Oh and ok, serious question time. I was looking up all this science stuff about light bulbs then started to think this kind of defeats the purpose of having a fun and lighthearted 'Holiday Skirmish.' So basically, debate the facts while putting a fun Christmas/Rudolph spin on things? Or trash the serious stuff all together and just debate with 'silliness' and fun? I'm not sure exactly what the rules are for this. Do we debate as normal and just with a Christmas spin or is it 'serious' or all fun?

i won.t think it is illegal
maybe we should proof it in debate that it is quiet natural!

Completely up to you, though I agree that your debate topic seems loosely based on the Holiday...but then I have to deal with the political process so I would think that debating 'serious' while finding room for holiday motivated levity will be my course...

Yes, emphasis on 'loosely.'

Ok thanks a bunch. I guess I'll do my best to mix it up.

Ok, silent worker-mode turned on.

don.t say "loosely based on holidays".

wihtout rudolph santa wouldn.t be able to find his way through storm and ice and wouldn.t be able to get to all the children on time to bring presents!

so rudolph is one of the most important animal for the holidays

i guess you would be very very dissapointed if santa won.t go down your chimney and leave a present!

so don.t forget the carrot for rudolph!

edit to insert " "

Just a comment:

I for one, when WS proposed this "Skirmish", was really looking forward to the Fighters stretching the limits. Delving into fanciful and artful realms while still addressing the topic.

I see nothing really "Off Limits" in the skirmish and would encourage everyone to push the boundaries of imagination. (While staying within the T&C of course)

Please let's have fun with this and don't get so obsessed over the "Win or the Loss" as we must during a regular tournament or challenge match.

I can not speak for the judges, but I know I would look for creativity and imagination in these debates!!!!

Ok, Thanks a bunch. That's kind of a life saver actually because it sure is hard finding statistics and published negative side effects/drawbacks on an invention that doesn't even exist.

I'll do my best to do silly/fun/imagination.

Nice oblique Dan Simmons call-back, with the Olympus reference... those books are great. Wonder when he's going to write the third one?
