I have heard that.
I'm still fairly young so I still tolerate it fine, physically at least.
I don't drink enough to get drunk anymore, and probably never will again. It just doesn't interest me in that way.

I will admit though in the area of mixed drinks...there has always been one that I've been especially fond of.
The White Russian
Mmmm....

Oooh White Russian's ARE pretty good - except I don't drink much of the Creamy Drinks, or the ones made with Milk. (Lactose intolerant). I can
handle about 1 serving of dairy per day, and thats usually reserved for my Yogurt Habbit. But, once in a while I'll have a sip...
Monkey's Lunches are pretty good too!!!
Creme de Cacao & Creme de Bananne. Usually topped with Cream or Milk.

I can honestly say in all my alcohol exploits, I've never had that particular drink.
Sounds good though.

Some would say my problem is my lack of a drinking problem.
Seriously though, once my daughter was born, I dropped that particular lifestyle for good.

Anyone ever had Amarula? I tell you, THAT is awesome on Ice or in Coffee....(preferably NOT your 'first thing in the morning' coffee....)

I was more of a "straight up" girl though. Or beer. But no gin.

It's definitely cheaper, but like I said, I don't drink to get drunk anymore.
I just drink because I like to kick back and enjoy it.
I've noticed there isn't much love for gin around here too.

That's cool. By the time I was in bad enough shape to do something about the drinking, moderation was no longer an option.
