At the risk of giving away part of my strategy(ies), I like the Socratic Questions to waste the word count of my opponent. If you read my debates, there are many instances where I have asked an SQ that wasn't necessarily germaine to the subject.

I did notice that. You did that to an extent that I reached my word-limit on two ocassions in our debate. Had never happened to me before.

I prefer having the closing statement. I always "withhold stuff" for the last statement so that the opponent has no chance for rebuttal.

Not to worry – the typesetting reference is part of why I chose the name I'm a fan of font design. Not that I know anything about it – I just think letters are pretty
