Hey! I saw that edit! You made the champaign pink!

An amusing decision. Now the party's really rolling...

*has a boone's strawberry hill flashback*
Ah, Boone's Strawberry Hill... all the strawberry flavour, with just a hint of hill.

I had to after getting a u2u admitting surprise to not using pink champagne!

(Because this 'Bud Light' girl from South Texas didn't know there actually was such a thing
).

It's Blueberry Hill.

Edit to point out: Give it up for our champion everyone.

I always was partial to Louie Armstrong's version:
www.youtube.com...

But then, I love pretty much anything by Louie Armstrong. I didn't know Pat Boone did a version; I'll have to listen to it some year.

* has another glass of punch *

Edit: Wow, actually found this live version of Louie Armstrong from the early 60's - with video!

Only 6 months. Damn 'dog, you talk a lot.

4300 posts. I've been here almost 3 years and just broke 3k. Over half of those are mod posts.

i guess this gets rid of the prejudice that men talk less than women!
or i have to think about s-dog.s relationship at home
maybe he is only allowed to sit in a corner with his mac and talk to us. mrs schodinger alway forbids him to open his mouth

no i doubt that
he is not of that kind

men talk much more than women are persumed to talk

So, today's the Semperfortis / Skyfloating speed-debate, right?
I've been really looking forward to watching this unfold.

* lays out coffee and snacks for the participants and audience *

Not trying to stir up anything, but have you considered how the time-limit factor magnifies the effectiveness of distracting and strategically-smacky side-talk here in the 'Pub? The well-placed comment, at about the 30 minute mark into an opponent's response time, could really undercut their intertia....

Just trying to instigate an entertaining viewing experience for everyone....

Then again, if I only had an hour to respond, I'd probably ignore the FCP entirely until my response was posted.

In other irrelevant news, I won 2 unexpected awards at my trail riding club's Christmas party last night. They consider me a "rising star" in their club, and the other was for volunteering (I did the burger & hot dog grilling in 100 deg heat) at our City Slickers ride in June.

I'm sure they'll do exactly that. Maybe.

Congratulations on your awards!

Maybe we should have a commentary thread going, so that they will be tempted to check in on how the rest of us think it's going

Think of all the fun that could be had, praising a point, and then bashing it, and then praising again, all in an hour.

Nah, I think they're both too experienced to get thrown by whatever goes on in here.

@Heike: Congratulations!

So semper's online now, and Sky was online earlier. Still no sign of MemoryShock though. Doesn't he have to open the thread?
