Yeah, I've lost a good chunk of my life to the various Civilization games. I bought a Nintendo DS just to play the Civ game that came out for it. Spent more time watching those 2 screens in class than my professors
. I do understand the criticisms people have against kids playing FPS' and other violent games, but I think going so far as to blame actions on them is abit much.
That said, here's the game that's been stuck in my PS3 for a month and I don't see it coming out for awhile

Gah there's no satisfaction in winning via wonders, diplomacy or what-have-you. I subscribe to Ahnold's theory of life:

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women."

Since I missed High School Night at the FCP with the rest of you last night, I'm playing catchup tonight, revisiting my illspent youth while writing up my close for the boob debate

No Nat Shermans unless it gets really ugly though

edit to switch to studio version cause the sound sucked on the live

I'll join in the reminiscence of high school days and present this...better if you are having a glass of red wine....

I was not an excitable sort...

"Black and white are all I see in my infancy, red and yellow then came to be reaching out to me"

Ah to buy into that psuedo-intellecutal BS again.

Not exactly high school but this song inspired a portion of my signature...

There are portions of this song that I take literally...

I think my poor dad lost a decade off his life the day he came into my room and saw my The Cure: Let's Sleep Together poster

Not sure if it was the sentiment or the man in the makeup that got him, though.

This one is very obscure but one of my favorite songs ever. Moon Martin "Bad News"

Well good news everyone. My friend is getting married and guess who's best man? Now I got 6 months to figure out a way to tear him away from his fiance for the real bachelor party
.

Getting back to HS, this video pretty much sums up how he dressed back then haha.

My best friend and I made an odd pair – I was a barefoot hippie drunk and she was a post-punk chick who preferred herbal medicine.

This one's for her

Debates are bad for me – I'm losing track of which threads I'm pissing off Christians in and which I'm pissing off atheists in

Newer than high school, but Anjani Thomas has such a pretty voice:

Hmm, I'll have to look for something cheerful...

Just go with the flow right?

Wasn't that where they found the weather balloon? Err, guy parachute jumping from high-altitude? Err, swamp gas reflecting off Venus?

Try looking up projects Grunge and Bluebeak. Or were those about the TV show?

FSB: Ooo, ATS has a creationism forum? Kewl! Perhaps I'll stop by; there's some misconceptions about Intelligent Design that it would be nice to clear up.

I'm considering a new strategy of "zero knowledge" for my speed-bate.
It's a controversial yet somehow appealing approach.

"Speed-bate"?

That sounds like it would either chafe, or risk a fishhook in the thumb.
