Whew! All done, and waiting for your closing, Sky:

Debate Final: Ian McLean vs Skyfloating: Extra Terrestrial Psy Ops?

You can take longer than 3 hours to post it, if you'd like.

Thanks, I enjoyed the fast pace.

Well done my friend.

One doesn't hear the word "oubliette" every day.

Hmm... sorry about that. Well, maybe Schro Dog will let you borrow his favorite fighting outfit.

What do you think of that one?

Truly we are in the presence of greatness.

belief a bubble, or skepticism a vain oubliette?

Awesome.

Nice job, Ian

I am wishing I could throw that image into the "oubliette".

Nice Birkenstocks, though.

Edit to blush: TY, ADB.

Dear God, I get back from work and what do I see? Hell Ghandi and some kind of... *boggle*.

Anyhow.

I had a new avatar custom made by AshelyD, what do you think?

Heike

I pride myself in trying to find new information and whatnot. But, I think my life would have been for the better without that image.

Okay...my latest is up...10000 characters exactly (I'm assuming because of bb code it will be less in the post...
).

Please excuse the errant italics until Semper can fix it...

You and schrodingers dog have an excellent debate going on... I've been eagerly anticipating each reply.

Also, biting my tongue at all the interesting points I want to comment on! Grrr, some of the things said have raised eyebrows halfway up my forehead!

Interesting point: the 10-Kchar rule applies to the BBcode source of the post, as entered in the editor, not the number of chars in the formatted result of the HTML, as could be copied+pasted when viewing the thread. Yeah?

A gift for you for your closing post.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

You should have looked in my profile and used my own thread against me.

Thanks, Ian...
I found that it took me awhile to actually get my bearings in this debate, which is a tribute to Schro Dog (Don't tell him I said that until after the debate...
).

You and Sky have an incredible debate as well. I as well have been eagerly anticipating each post...

Schro Dog: Damn! Honour compels me to not use a source or an idea in a debate unless I thought of the idea (Using Ian's source was acceptable in my opinion as it was never presented in the context of our debate topic...
), but what a hell of a source.

I assure you, however, that the omittion of that thread will not result in a tamer closing from me...

Can't wait to see what your going to put up there...or can I...

Oooo, I love: "The election of Barack Obama shows that M. L. King's Dream is alive in America."

I'd argue the "con" position.

Where's chissler?

You would like to argue that the election of Barack Obama indicates that MLK's dream is not alive in America?

It would be both interesting and challenging.
As I think about it though it is difficult to argue "alive".

I think I could argue the con of "The election of Barack Obama shows that M. L. King's Dream has come true in America."

Edit to add: We'll keep looking for another topic.
