This RX America thread is a good one! Stars all around from me on a very difficult subject to debate!

Its been a battle to the bitter end and it really is a tough topic to debate. Thanks to memoryshock for coming up with that one its been really interesting.

I have always noticed that the second shot of rum after I start a debate is particularly good...the first one is always the toughest to get down...

I think that depends on what kind of debate you are having.

It is also dependent on the individuals "Real Life" situation.

I have found myself at times with all the time in the world to sit here and address a debate; I have also found myself trying desperately to find an hour to answer a debate.

I like the 24 hour rule, but I also like the extension rule.

No thanks... I think I need a break... Maybe after this ones done (and a weeks of drinking margaritas and imagining I'm on a beach) we can argue the merits of hell... I don't care. Asphalt Vs. Concrete. Brick Vs. Wood.

I don't mind the extensions, but I was an idiot and set it up with 48 hours between each... Thus giving us plenty of time to research. On top of weekends off (family life) this could end up being a dadgum three week debate.

Either way. I think jamie's gonna hate me when it's over

hell a 2 day vacation would be nice right now; I'm working on a senate campaign. I had three months off between it and the Mayoral race before it. I'm sick and tired of politics, thinking, and in general getting out of bed.

My body is sore. But the show must go on... Ah well. Soon enough. either August 7th in the Primary... But hopefully November 4th... either way... I gotta make it... then I should be provided with a nice long vacation. all the work I've done I'm asking for all expenses paid for me my GF and our son to Hawaii. If I get that I'm taking some of my advance and buying her a nice ring... (but keep it quiet[like she'll read my 'crazy' website])

A tournament has been suggested as a possibility but we are currently waiting on a Vagabond return to discuss details...

If I'm activated, I'd like to issue an open challenge. Random topic, likely random sides. Would prefer a more mainstream topic to get my feet wet and get used to the format used.
