Hi all!

Euro 2008 kicks off this Saturday, although England arent there due to Steve McClaren, a bunch of overpaid under-achievers and Croatia lol!

Who's gonna win it then?

my money is on Holland

I think Italy and Germany will feature strongly too, you can never write off the Germans!

It's really hard to say:

Italy, Germany or French, but i'm also expecting great results from Portugal, Romania Holland and Spain.
Four years ago, Greece has proven that noone can ever be sure about the final winner:
football is getting globalized, so now there's no longer romanian, or croatian or russian football. Tactics are shared worldwide and the players, at least the most important ones, are now know everywhere and they know each others.
Of course, i hope Italy, but i'm aware that it will be hard to say the least.

My cousin is the most experienced player active for Holland and he called off Euro 2008. Too much trouble with the coach. Mentally the Dutch team might not be ready for it.

But because of my nationality I have to be for Holland, but I will also be rooting for France.

And Switzerland did not deserve to lose yesterday. Neither did Austria today against Croatia. They both played well.

We need him! But it's understandable he called off, like Van Bommel, and previously Van Nistelrooij...

My bet is on Germany. I don't think they are the strongest all around ,but they bring a great game everytime they play. You can tell how much they practice by watching their passing and positioning. I just wish England was in it too!

I hope for Germany. Hard to believe England not making it. Are they going to qualify for the World Cup?

Way to go Holland... 3-0 is a beatdown in Soccer, its like beating a team 21-0 in football...

We are getting the matches here in the US on ESPN... its cool...

Now its the Swiss and the Turks...

Soccer is fine every few years...

Portugal beats Czech republic 3-1. I was for the Czechs in that game

Switzerland are already out. Lost 1-2 against Turkey

I'm a Liverpool fan, so I'm gonna have to go for spain first, holland second - those are my preferences for the winner.

Gotta love Dirk Kuyt - some LFC fans critisize him - but he does so much for the team.

Great player.

But not as good as nando
