Immigration into America by the hispanic peoples...

Let's talk fact from fiction. The Mexican government is exporting its' poverty. The US government is allowing this because we import oil from them. Onethird of the federal prison population is composed of illegal immigrants. Our medical an educational systems are being overwhelmed by illegals. Domestic violence against women has risen dramaticaly due to illegal Mexican immigration. They rob our welfare system, since they don't contribute funding it. The list could go on and on. They are a burden on our whole nation. We the people by voting in corrupt politicans have allowed this trend to continue. You want this to stop. The solution is very simple. Invade Mexico, sieze its oil fields and errandicate the drug cartels that run its government.

There's a lot of fiction on both sides of this issue. On the one hand you have Mexico described as a third world hellhole like Haiti or something. On the other, it's a paradise where so long as you grease the palms of the corrupt police they'll leave you alone and you have an infinite amount of freedoms. Nothing's that black and white. Certainly the images of drug wars and complete poverty and scum in border towns like Tijuana are definitely not representative of the entire country, though the rascists and violently anti-immigration types would love you to believe it is. I've travelled throughout Mexico quite a bit, the gap between the haves and have-nots is definitely more pronounced than it is in the US. Here even in the ghettos you see people walking around with the latest cell phones and $400 shoes. The poor in Mexico definitely have good reason to want to seek out a better life somewhere, can't really blame them, I too would do anything in my power to better the life of my family, why should we expect them not to as well? The one issue I have with immigration is those who come here and don't do anything to assimilate into our "culture." Living in Los Angeles it's very annoying going out and not being able to communicate with 60% of the people in stores/restaurants, and worse still when you think about what has happened to the schools.

Well buddy now you know how I feel. It's that way here. I have a 50/50 shot when I go to Home Depot (who I do NOT use any more b/c of this!!) of getting an English speaking person who can help me. It's ridiculous. Shouldn't there be some kind of law that if you have a job working with the public you need to know english??

Up where I live people are always talking about how they hate the mexicans. Main reason- they took our jobs! Before the invasion packing plants would pay 3X the wages but since they came and would work for cheap the american workers lost their 'sorta high' paying jobs.
I feel the people who either lost their jobs or had to work for way less than they did before. This is big beef country up here! But at the same time I feel for the people who came here only to earn a living the best way they can, by coming here.

Wow what a heart felt post.

You must be a paid US government brain washer, whose job it is to make sure immigrants don’t leave the US, now that its economy sucks and its true third-world standing is becoming to show.

There was at one time a strong middle-class in America. Not because of the Gov but because of the mountains of dead Americans that took to the streets and fought big biz till they got good wages. All the Gov did was back big biz while they paid scabs to fight the strikers. But the good people of America won and only then did the age of middle-class come forth.

Sad thing is it did not take to long for the next generation to get coned by big biz and banks into enslaving themselves with credit.

You see the reason why poor people in the US have nice shoes and I-pods or anything for that matter is credit, slavery and welfare. But if you take away credit (which by the way is happening as we speak) You will come to realize that there is no middle-class in America there has not been for 20 years. For 20 years the so-called poor people of America have been under the illusion that they are middle-class but now that curtain is falling.

In 4 more years you will see that the gap between rich and poor in America is worse than that of Mexico. I’m sorry to have to tell you this but you need to know and prepare.

Oh and if you want kids to learn English in schools stop catering to them by giving them bilingual classes. Force them into English classes I guaranty you with in a year they will be fluent in English.

I don't understand, American's are the one's paying these peoples wages. If you lived in a poor country and had the option of farming for 25 cents an hour or going to america and making 20x that what would you do in your familys best interest. Not to mention those people were probably indiginious to this land before we took Texas. Now i ask you, if we allow native americans to have casinos and make billions in compinsation for taking america, what's wrong with paying an illegal 5 bucks an hour to clean a toilet or harvest veggies.

It's ironic that you would use this classic and poignant video from the Keep America Beautiful campaign to illustrate your righteous anger towards "trashy" illegal immigrants.

This moving video was created to express the indignation felt through the eyes of a Native American, of the toxic pollution and callous littering caused by uncaring, everyday American citizens.

So, it is fair to say at the very least, that while the litter portrayed in the Arizona desert as a result of illegal immigration is most unfortunate, the "trashing" of America is not solely the by-product of said immigration.

well we could reflect on how "long" did the native Americans (Hispanics included) "allow" white settlers to take the land that they were occupying from them.

how long did any pre-existing human race(s) in north America "allow" the influx through the berring strait and down through what's now Canada.. the influx of current day Native Americans and Hispanics?

the immigration policy is being used the same way abortion or same-sex mairrage is used.. a superfluous concept that never has anything done about it, yet is GREAT as a speech-tool to rally people in your direction.

It's of my opinion that the massive Hispanic influx is (whether you personally like it or not) .. is filling a need. the manufacturing jobs are dwindling here in the U.S... and white people pretty much won't do "menial labor" anymore .. or at least they will pass it up in hopes of something higher paying, and that creates a void, which is being aptly filled by the majority of poor Hispanic immigrants.

I have nothing against living around Hispanic people. I only feel sometimes that they think that I feel threatened.. so they get standoff-ish.

then there's the whole "RECONQUISTADOR" movement.. much like the Black "UHURU" movement
which is .. in my mind.. complete higher-up social engineering and direction.. manipulated at the grass-roots level (specifically radio talk show hosts) .. to further integrate and cause racial conflict. But of course you need to drive it using the most efficient methods possible.. emotion.. reclamation.. rights.. liberty.. justice etc..
completely engineered.. yet people think they're doing it out of their own will ( like some secret new idea" .. emotions overwhelm people and they're easily led in whatever direction you want them.

I think that racial conflict is a number one asset and tool of people governing the masses.. because the more "worry" and "conflict" you have between peoples of different races.. the more divided they are.. and the less they can even come close to uniting and accomplishing anything in their own best interest. and conversely against any clandestine agendas.
push this further.. and you've got the beginnings of racial war between the ignorant masses of races.. and you can slam the boot down and dictate Marshall Law.

I don't think it's anything like you say, and you can't do anything about it. It's already set in motion. Theres a deep sentiment that specific area of the west coast is actually deservedly "Hispanic territory" and they've got their hearts set on it.
The only thing you can do to cope with it, is to become friends with Hispanics you meet, and work with them to improve your community together instead of playing into the racial conflict card that separates us.

the world of the future is going to be a mixed bag, and if you can't get along with people of other races, then you won't be allowed to be part of it.

Now this is what I call a conspiracy! The polarization of America over immigration. While I wouldn't go so far as declaring racial warfare, it does make one wonder about the government(s) role in using this volatile issue as a diversionary tactic.

An earlier poster suggested the use of RFID tags as a possible solution to immigration reform. Think about that for a moment. The government tagging all American citizens and legal residents as a means of authenticating legal residential status.

Granted it's not quite the same as Marshall Law, however, it could be argued that both scenarios play straight into the hands of any NWO agenda.

Outlandish? Perhaps. But is it really that far-fetched?
