Jupiter's Great BLUE Spot?!?!

We've all heard of the great red spot... but a few day ago an amatuer astronomer spoted a huge blue one new to the planet. In the linked article you can see some pictures of it.

Obviously this is another storm, but of different composition from other parts of jupiter.


Blue Spot

Jupiter looks like a big dairy treat to me.

I read about this yesterday and I thought to myself "Could that be a storm of Nitrogen and Oxygen Gases?"

Ive also heard this story and i think its nitrogen gases

is that the spot where that rogue comet hit a few years back ?

No, that was in the southern hemisphere, this is toward the equator.
