Indigo Children a hoax

Kids this generation born anywhere from 1980 and now are what they consider "indigo" with special abilities such as telepathy, sense auras, are extra sensitive to surroundings, intelligent, empathetic slightly attune with vibrational energies, have indigo auras etc... they say that these children are born with a developed pineal gland which enables these special abilities and that they are "god's" children.

There may or may not be truth in that but my theory is that these children are born in an era where everything is accessible, most amazing inventions, hollywood box office hits, technology, scientific discoveries, pyschology advancements etc. ever discovered/created during the 80's era and until now... These children are born in an era where everything is unfolding in front of thier eyes where they are eye witnessing events we as older generations have yet to see or experience while growing up and thus, these children are much more evolved mentally and spiritually.

I dont think to coin these children "indigo" would be an accurate description of this generation today. Fact is, kids nowadays are spoiled, having more than they need including knowledge and abilitiy to connect with people globally through the amazing power of the internet, onwing the latest and hottest games, phones, computers etc...This generation of children have much more resources thereby making them much more acute, sensitive, intelligent, evolved, alert, and spiritual (considering the current state of the world today)

Another theory is that Indigo children regardless of age/gender/race have always existed in this world and is now becoming more popularized because people are making them known. People with the astrological signs of Pisces, Scorpio and Cancers all have natural psychic abilities and are extra sensitive, intuitive, compassionate, creative and dream like. I known of many Pisces who have lucid dreams, psychic abilities, telepathy and Scorpios who are dark, mysterious, and see beyond what meets the eye... These 3 signs of the 12 zodiac are considered "Indigo" for they are ruled by water which are of emotional, sensitive, creativity, spiritual characteristics and have more of an intelligent state of consciousness.

In my opinion, there are no "indigo children". All children then and now are a manifestation of who we want to be and what we are meant to become.

The so-called "indigo" children seem to me to be a parents excuse to not take responsability for their child. By the standards of this section of spiritualism, I should've been dubbed as "crystal", but...well, I think that's a bunch of BS. I've had the glorious pleasure of being told this and that from supposedly psychic people.

To me, Indigo children are a californian parents way of saying "let the children express themselves." That's fine and dandy, I grew up in the 90's...I had one of the last families that still used a hand to teach right from wrong, and was misdiagnosed with ADHD.

At any rate...I can't say I disagree, but I think it's more of parents wanting a way to make their immature bratty children to have an excuse to feel special, spoiled, and the like. It's appauling really.

I think if I grew up in the 90's where I saw my parents' lives revolve around the computer, I would be indigo as well. The knowledge that we have now and then is such a huge gap. Kids are reading Harry Potter, watching movies with incredible storylines, special effects etc, have much more materialstic goods than ever...how can they not be indigo? They are much more mentally evolved through stimulation of toys, tv, internet, movies etc than children born in the 70's where paper cups attatched through a string, yo-yos, slinkys was considered the most "amazing" toy...

Of course kids these generation are much more intelligent, spiritual, and therefore being so mentally stimulated are able to read minds.. all that reality tv enables them to capture the essence of human nature as well as paranormal shows such as xfiles, stargate, causing them to see and recognize certain events and experiences.

I'm not sure what you're driving at, lets see, it's okay for us to go after the Christian faith, and bash masons, athiests, muslims, and the like...but it's NOT okay that we touch on the subject of Indigos, why?

I don't think the ammount of materialistic goods someone has has anything to do with their intelligence . I've grown up in a basically rural environment and I know some kids that don't have a whole lot, and they are really smart. I think its a collective type of thing. People everywhere are getting smarter regardless of what they own.

Quite possibly.
There are more children who are more creative. But as goes with the evolution cycle of the brain. I don't think that warrants the idea of "indigo." I think that's just called "we were stupid before, but now we're getting kinda smart."

I can see funny forms being filled out for demographic purposes.

I don't know what purpose this newest label, 'indigo', would serve other than to set these children apart from ordinary folks.

Exactly.
I'm not gonna rule out the possibility that Indigo children are "real" because its really one of those things that we can't prove either way. But there are more logical explanations that need to be considered before using the color of ones supposed aura as a reason for a certain level of intelligence.

The premise of this post is misled.
These are children who can sometimes remember past lives on "OTHER PLANETS".They will give specific details at VERY young ages(3-4).
They tell of the families and societies they were a part of which had access to technologies beyond our comprehension much less that of a three year old.

The OP might find it benificial to do a little research and open a new thread called.."Why I believe in Indigo children."

Ding ding, we have a winner. Everyone wants to be special. The fact is though it's kind of hard to be so today. We get a bunch of mixed messages about how we should deal with ourselves.
The best way is to find something your good at, and do your best at it. It may not set you apart, but you get the feeling of knowing you are doing your best at what you are good at.
But for some people that's not enough. They need to be better. They need to be apart from eveyone else.
SO we have all these different people that are better for whatever reason.
The only thing that seperates a farmer from a scientist is the type of work they do. A scientist would have a hard time being a farmer, and a farmer would have a hard time being a scientist.
(Not exactly of course, but I hope you get the point)
But where they are, they are b being who they are. It's kind of hard to do that though for many people.

The premise of this post is that Indigo children have been around since forever...except now is the only time we recognize it... quite often, kids are mislabled as "indigo" when in all actuality, they are just evolving and have greater access to knowledge than the older generations. To say that they are indigo is inaccurate because I met some children born in the 90's till now and in my opinion, are spoiled little brats.

Of course every apple out of the bag grown by whichever farm has some unusual shapes and colors... but to say that all children being born back in the 80's and now have paranormal abilities is ridiculous..

Why dont you do a little research!! hang out at a day care and see for yourself!! and if you see a kooky little kid with oogly eyes staring in a space like trance, it could possibly be that the parents have heavily medicated the kid with ritalin or some sort of bogus prescription medication.

There are people who are 50, 70, 80 years old who have those type of abilities... clairvoyance, precognition, telepathy, telekinesis, etc...

Just because a 3 year old indigo has that type of abilities, doesnt mean that it never existed..

Also, with chemicals in food, hormones in cows, and all types of funky things in the air, it could very well be that the 3 year old kid is crazy. Children who remember past lives on "Other planets?" Please... where is the proof on that... and can the child shapeshift into a alien form? Do you research and present it to me with proof and logic.

Indeed I will sir. But first let me require proof from you that you even exist. I have a nasty little habit of needing to confirm the existance of people I reply to. You may u2u me if you wish. I would have you note however, that the u2u in and of its self will not be sufficiant evidence of your existance. I will need more substantial proof.

Your argument is flawed from the begining. There are children that
are giving messages to adults that they encounter of detailed descriptions
of family life on their 'HOME PLANET." They are all independantly giving us more or less the same "warnings" of things to come.You have to address that to continue with your flawed reasoning.

Who are these people who made these accounts? Why haven't I ever heard of them? Has anyone ever recorded the childs words, or is it just a touch and tell occurance? Gee, that's rather interesting, it'd make me wonder why 3 year olds aren't on AIM, or even running around with blogs on the net.

The only account I remember was the time where the kid was interviewed and it was later debunked that the kid was quoting the show Avatar. Yeah, right...that's real hardcore proof.

I don't question a childs abilities at all, but I think people are really prying for "special children" more than what's valid.

To suggest that kids can communicate with aliens, or know thier past life in another planet or giving us "warnings" sounds a little kooky to me. I am factual, rational and logic. Show me the evidence and we can discuss furthur but as of now, your comments are baseless.

My theory is just an observation.. it is in no way "the truth" but rather and opinion. To suggest that I am associated with the gov or feds sounds as if you're a little paranoid to me! I am just another nerd behind the computer screen. lol
