I'm so glad I'm not the only one who saw the connection to the Hitleresque propaganda in this thread. I didn't mention it in fear of sounding melodramatic but that is pretty much the way this thread is sounding to me, too.

It's even scarier seeing so many people applauding the O.P. Goodness gracious.

I always have to laugh at this debate. Its always struck me as a dog chasing its tail. Evolutionist believe that all is hapenstance and can be proved by the scientific method. Creationists believe in a supreme being supplying the many universes with everything needed. I hardly ever see someone mention that it very well could be a merging of both beliefs. Someone or something started this whole conglomerate of life and universe. Could it be that this something or someone is the creator as it is named by both parties? If we take the scientific method to prove anything nowdays its usualy bastardised into a **** consensus**** for a certain political motivation. Since a consensus is definatly not proof of anything but just opinions agreed upon then only one thing is left to facilitate the truth.....FAITH IN WHAT ONE BELIEVES...! Those with the faith of a Gods creative genius are no less correct than those with a faith in creative evolution. Neither can be proved beyond that which one believes. Evolution is fact but is it hapenstance or is it preplaned by who or what ever started it all??? Does anyone realy know for sure or are we at each others throats for our individual faiths on what is reality to us as individuals. We very well might be disagreeing for no real purpose. Our faiths may meld eventualy!!

Maybe we should make a special creationist forum or maybe a "camp" and herd at gun point - I mean politely escort all the creationists into their allowed special area. Also since they are ignoramus creationists they are obviously not fully humans like the superior Darwinist Atheist. I think perhaps we should donate a few of them as test subjects for evolutionary psychology experiments in special forum moderated by Asty himself. Here you can belittle and insult repeatedly the creationist even calling there Lord and Savior a fraud.... of course just to see how they adapt to their surroundings. After all... its all the name of good science.

Yes indeed. We value all opinions as long as they are discussed in a civilized manner. We are not all atheist or all christian. There are thousands of different people visiting and/or posting on this site every day bringing different ideas to the mix. Granted, some may not be as deep and well though out and researched as some of the threads of the past, but there are still gems to be found. I highly doubt that one small group of people will be able to dominate the forum. It's highly improbable IMO.

Well your religion steals aspects from other older more worldy religions..namely the hebrews and the buddhists and edits out what they deem not necessary. how am I closed minded? I am aware of what each religion is about and they all stem pretty much from the same source. So therefore bieng one religion is in fact bieng closed minded...why restrict yourself when you could see the big picture?

Didn't I just point you to a comment by Skeptic Overlord himself when he first launched the O&C forum? He stated point blank this forum is also for creationism-evolution debates as well as origin conspiracies. Why are you purposely ignoring that?

As far as I know, creationism is not being taught in any science class in any school in Europe. The way it should be. Leave it for Sunday school.
