Demon Hunting

Yeah, there was this guy that did that years ago. Turns out they charged him with being a serial killer.

ok so let me get this straight..... your looking to arm yourself and "HUNT" actual demons and evil spirits like we see on supernatural, buffy and constatine???? hope you dont mind my asking, but are there voices telling you to do this? do these voices say that these "demons" are disguised as humans and only YOU can see them and thats why its YOUR task to torture, kill and maim these "vessels of pure evil"????? can you see where im goin with this? seein ghosts and excorcising spirits ye sure fine.... hunting big scary THINGS with horns and wings while armed with a shot gun and made up holy relics? somebody needs a short stay in the mental home, unless this is like that vampire masquerade thing and this is aaaaall part of your role play

Ever see the movie Frailty? That's sort of what you're coming off as. You know, half religious, half crazy.

There is no such thing as good and evil, and I can't tell exactly what it is that you're thinking of doing... if it's a spiritual, internal thing, killing your own demons and clearing your head, then good for you. If you're talking about going after people who you perceive as "demons," well sir, I hope they catch you and lock you up for a long, long time.

holypurpose... please be careful and well educated on demonology before you even remotely try getting involved in that field. It is VERY dangerous, and if you dont know what your doing, it can be a matter of life or death. In many instances, people who conjure or try to contact spirits without proper knowledge about how to do it, and how to end the "ceremony" , end up becoming possesed, haunted, etc.. they bring the spirit back home with them without even realizing it.

I suggest you try and form a team of people who are specialized in this, and go with them on haunts and see exactly how everything works. After a while maybe you can do it on your own, but dont be so eager to go looking for demons. Usually they are looking for you, and if you look for them too, they will surely find you.

there are many ways to kill demons, one of the most common being a blessed weapon, the method i prefer to use is a "holy hand grenade" for this get sulphur, silk and holy water, douse the silk in holy water, put sulphur on it, let the water dry, wrap the silk around your hand, when near/confronting a demon, light the silk. KEEP YOUR EYES CLOSED
demons hate light and sulphur can kill a demon, lighting the sulphur will bring on a blinding light much like that of a flashbang grenade, mixing this with holy water will bring on a holy hand grenade.

this is much easier to do than getting a weapon blessed or getting a pure copper blade.

i repeat, keep your eyes closed, the light will temporarily blind you, disorient you and make you sick.

Nope. There is no evidence that demons even exist, let alone are dangerous.

How can people be specialised in something that hasn't even been properly understood? That is like me saying I'm a Jedi. I might want to think so, and it might be great if it was real, but until it can be demonstrated, it's just a guess.

Dave420....you dont believe in demons eh.....hmm there hasnt been any research on them? tell me something have you ever seen a waterbear?..... have you ever seen a tapir,okapi,degu, or a sable antelope.....now these are real creatures and if you search online you can find research on them....just the same wit demons there is research...and its okay to what ever you reply to this it wont change anything Mr. dave because one day you will actually find out.......

They actually have samples of said animals - DNA, bodies, etc. They know they exist, and I can find specimens in museums to have a look at. Find me any concrete evidence of demons, and I'll be the biggest supporter of this field you can imagine. As it is, every single 'research' effort put into this field has yet to come up with anything certain. Or even anything.

I can't help being rational - I find it helps one get through life without frittering time away on the unfounded assertions of others.

Study the old texts, including the New Testament and the Testament of Solomon, for general guides about how to control demons and protect yourself from being infected by them (like Jesus, the sorcercer from Nazareth). You need to keep in mind that these things are dangerous to you both physically and mentally, and they should be handled like they were radioactive.

Start small and work your way up to the major, more powerful demons. Familiarize yourself with spirit boards (OUIJA boards work well), and become familiar with how they work and what kind of responses you get from them. Then you can work your way up to full-fledged conjuring.

You should be aware, though, that demons are particularly hard to kill in the normal sense of the word, since they are incorporeal, coherent energy constructs working in multiple dimensions. They can be controlled and guided, but what you're mostly going to do is send them off someplace. Maybe they'll come back, maybe not.

All I will say is be extremely cautious if you plan on going ahead with this. Messing around with these entities can be dangerous if you do not know what you are doing. You may be fully aware at another level and an "expert" if you will on the subject, but it is also VERY important to be knowledgeable at a conscious level as well. These entities can (and will) attach themselves to your fields causing all sorts of havoc in your own personal life. This is something that only you can discern and decide for yourself.

i Repeat stick to the word of God my friend do not seek other foreign devices to help you out pagan works and pagan devices only fuel Demons....so do various hobbies and or addictions smoking drinking drug ues and unmarried sex..........but also oujia boards wierd named websites stick to the word of God and your Faith in God.........nothing else

In all of the demon threads, I go from the assumption that they are real things, with a trans-cultural history many thousands of years old, and exist in a state we are currently unable to scientifically define although possibly related to biologist Rupert Sheldrake's "morphic fields." The historical and anecdotal evidence is difficult to ignore, and shouldn't be, nor should the surprising consistency of the descriptions around the world from cultures that were isolated from each other.

As with UFOs, I would say that while we don't know specifically what these things are, or how they come to be, continued exploration of the recognized phenomenon should be encouraged and explored. That's denying ignorance.

i was a slayer once a long time ago but one night they came and they killed my friend who was also a slayer and i never could get over it as she was a nice person so now i stay away from demons when i can and only confront them when i have no choice because i know what they can do and really you can never stop them only slow them down a bit because they cant really be killed but they can kill you anytime so now im not a slayer anymore becuase it is to painful for me to remember what happened that night when i heard them screaming and laughing

what i did was got God to teach me how to do this stuff, i have only been doin this stuff for almost a year, and, i dont think i have ever done ACTUAL exorcism, but what i feel im being called to is take out the demons before they do any more harm, i have yet to try the holy water, but i think if you are gunna do this all you really need is Jesus, and always do this with another experienced person, and if your gunna get into this, make sure this is what you are called for, because once you have taken out one demon, they re gunna be after you

ok, that is what i do, i hunt roamin demons. im not a genious on this subject, i only have about a years experience, and ive taken out i think 13 demons, some people can see demons with their bare eyes, but i see them as a shadow, or i see some disturbance in the area, and i can sence them, but i didnt even have becoming a demonhunter in mind, but God kept leading me towards this and once i figured it out, i just kept on asking for wisdom it the area and i kept on getting, dont ask for wisdom on how to do it(but it can be helpful sometimes) and never do it alone, the more of you the better

I have researched and know alot about spirits..that comes from when i was 13 and played with an ouija baord, long story shrot, ed and lorraine warren were in my home...
Do not go running after demons...rememebr,t hey are mischevous enitiys, that were once angles..and cast into hell...they live with the biggest liars of all,...Lucifer..and their main goal, si to harrass you, break you down emotionaly, and then possession..that is their purpose and nature.. sometimes, spirits can latch onto you, even evil ones, and folow you all over the plce..yuo may not be able to get rid off it.. even with a catholic preist.. demons are also know, to follow you to yuor home, lay dormant for years the emerge, or lay dormant in furniture as well..
Thier was a movie, i think called the entitiy? based on a true story.. in CA, a woman had an evil force following her, torturing her , and no priest of any fatih was able to get rid of it..she had moved like 11 times!! and it never left her alone.. or, olook up the Enfiled poltergeist, on youtube.. poltergests are way different, but maybe give you an idea, what yuo could expect..
Ide leave this alone man, curiosity killed the cat.. even by following a demon, yuo are invoking it...inviting it too your world/side..yuo run the risk of serious body harm, and possession...also look up a movie called possessed, about Robbie Williams...the TRUE exorcist story..
its not so much about having holy water, a bible and a cruxifix with you, tis yuor faith, that will save you..demons try to break yuo of yuor free will and faith to god and jesus..that is how they possess you..breaking you downa nd confusing you..
so, keep in mind, the risk involved...as an old saying goes, it aint messin with you, dont mess with it.

there are demons. there are angels. there are deities other than "God". there are demon hunters out there. there are "teams" of them, usually a few in the city. hard to find, and if you are meant to work with a team you will come across one without trying anyway. i ended up in a similar team and have to say - it's not something on purpose, it's not something you can help when it happens, it just does, and the world's a different place.

thank heavens i can post this anon... i'm a married woman who runs a business and lives a normal, drug-free life, and trust me, after the things that happened to me, i made sure i have a completely clean bill of mental health. i'm not some crazy or anything.

teams are a much better idea than doing it alone, no matter how much movies and stuff glamorize the concept. it never happens like in the movies, and it's scary. scary as hell. and very mortally frightening and dangerous. ask my physical scars. ask the dead we've known.

there are people in my team of all different religions... from catholic to shamanist to hinduist to me... a weird mix of taoist, humanist, and straight old-world pagan. when my husband met me, i kept it all from him because it's something i take seriously and don't just brag about to anyone. he ended up asking questions, and we found out some pretty crazy things, but the short story is that he is part of the team now.

and for anyone who doesn't believe... i went to my mom's house because she was getting a creepy feeling. my sister had offered to put up a shield for her, and without hearing more i offered to check it. almost immediately i opened my eyes and said "what kind of patchwork crap of a shield did she make you??" and her eyes got big... she said my sister was working on her shielding because the only way she knows to do it is patchwork-style.

and otherwise, if you don't believe in all of this and think it's silly crap, just ignore all of this and consider yourself lucky to not know what happens right in front of your ungifted eyes and otherwise let it go. i hope you find some amusement out of this and consider whether or not it's a bunch of fiction.

even if yuo founda d emon, which is RARE.. even by communicating with it, ti WILL try to overpower you..its knows everything about you so keep that in mind as well...however, it is said, demons cannot possesss you, unelss god permits it...
so! things to watch and listen for..dark cloaked shadow, feeling/sensing evil, smell of reotting flesh or meat, faucets turning on and off by themselves( spirits are attracted to moving water, even evil ones), unexplainable sick movement behind the walls, and of course, the sound of a pig grunting, behind the walls...that is a sure sign of demonikc infestation..as it gians yuor trust and power..
You should have some holy water with you, a white candle burning, and burn sage...all 3 shuold give yuo a kind of shield... oh, and it will try to be yuor friend, and even lie too you, bring yuo gifts,. dotn belive it..the only way to play it safe, is too not get involved with it.. i wish the best of luck man..
